The pepperoni pizza was delicious. Server and atmosphere was nice. Reason why this is getting 4 stars is because my to-go box had what looked like a couple of strands of dog hair on the bottom. I have pets so it doesnt bother me but for health and sanitation purposes, this is something that shouldn't be overlooked.
The food is really good in past times but the server we had this time was really rude and forgot about us entirety. We were waiting for her to come back to get our order for over 30 minutes. Before I had went to get a drink I was waving and trying to flag her down to no prevail. When she finaly decided to come take our order i had left to get another drink. she told my wife we had to leave if we didn't order, upset because of this whole interaction she left.
Good spot to catch a bit watch aome sports with die hard sports fans! Service was good and the food was good as well.
Perfect place to take our volleyball team for a pre tournament lunch. Comfortable seating. Fun sport atmosphere with t.v.'s with sports on everywhere. Friendly staff (even at 11:00 sunday morning) fast service. Great food. I loved that you can get pizza by the slice with whatver you want on it. The pizza was very good, I liked that it was not a greasy crust. Fries came out hot amd fresh. My husband was impressed with the mac and cheese that had buffalo chicken on top.
I really enjoy the atmosphere, the ladies who serve are top notch at the restaurant and located at the coolest spots in downtown 😍
What a charm, was visiting KCMO and stumbled across this sweet spot. Georgia was a great waitress and was attentive to our table even though we were all over the place. I was celebrating a upcoming birthday and she made my visit special. Thank you Johnny's Tavern see you soon.

Absolutely fantastic experience at Johnny’s Tavern P&L in Kansas City! The bartenders were top-notch—friendly, attentive, and really knew how to make a great drink. The food was just as impressive; we had the pizza and wings, and both were delicious! The pizza had the perfect balance of crispy crust and flavorful toppings, while the wings were perfectly cooked with just the right amount of sauce. The service was exceptional from start to finish, making the entire visit even more enjoyable. If you're looking for a great spot in the Power & Light District, this is definitely it. Can’t wait to come back!
Great spot for Game Day. Staff was very friendly. Great atmosphere and people. Food took a while but it was a busy night. Gotta try the Trash can...I almost had 3 of them
Our go to for after concerts and events at the TMobile center. The menu is great and they have great prices. We are always surprised at how quickly our food comes out. Bar and kitchen open late. Sometimes they even have UFC PPV events, which is much appreciated.
