I decided to try their buffalo chicken wrap. Unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. The chicken wrap I received was far from satisfying and fell short of my expectations. To begin with, the chicken in the wrap had a dry and chalky texture, which was incredibly disappointing. It lacked the tenderness and juiciness that one would hope for in a quality chicken wrap. Furthermore, the temperature of the chicken was only mildly warm, not hot as one would expect. Unfortunately, the lukewarm chicken detracted from the overall enjoyment of the meal. The lettuce in the wrap was another letdown. It was limp and soggy, which made the entire wrap feel unappetizing and less enjoyable to eat. The sauce was decent, and the wrap part of the item was very enjoyable, but that's the really only thing pleasantly noticeable about the wrap. The sports bar experience was great, and the drinks were fairly priced for the location.
Absolutely horrible! My wife and I sat outside on their back patio and wanted to eat and drink. We had to get our own beer at the bar and the waitress that was serving the 3 other tables next to us told us it wasn’t ’her section’. The bartender even said they would send someone out…never did! Don’t waste your time. Food isn’t that good and the wait staff is not friendly at all! MUCH better places in P&L!
Food and beer was great, my server was good, but if you ask for something else to the others servers they are going to treat you badly....
Came here 2 weeks ago, sat at a table for 33 minutes waiting for the waitress to come over and take our order. She made eye contact multiple times and walked away. People who came after us got their food before we even got to order our drinks. We decided to just order everything at the bar. I chose not to tip considering how horrible the service was. 3 days later I got a charge to my account from johnnys, The bartender decided to tip herself $20 . Our bill was $17 . Absolutely avoid this place at all costs.
The food was great, the young lady that was our server was very nice, and had some great suggestions. She did check to make sure everything was OK, so great job! For my time, I will visit again.
Johnny's is consistent! Best sports bar in KC. One of my favorite pizza places, and specials all week long. Amazing staff, too.
Please don't spray the customers with champagne. We were there for KC game today. When they won confetti was blown out over crowd which was fine followed by champagne spray. My coat that was just cleaned has to be cleaned again. Wet hair, wet cell phones going out into 22 degree weather to walk almost a mile to our hotel as we are from Arkansas. Wasn't planning on washing my hair, didn't bring my hair products, etc. Bad idea. Aside from that, service was good, food was bar food but good. Atmosphere great because of game.
We were here for the pep rally and decided to get some food everything was great.
Sweet spot in the Power & Light district of Kansas City! Great food and Awesome staff! When we return to K.C.....A must visit!!!!
Speedy service and great cheap drinks. I had a bloody Mary and Barefoot Moscato wine. Food looked good too even though I did not have any.
