Cute coffee shop with long wait lines. I've passed by this place two times and passed due to long lines that wrapped around the counter, but decided to stick it out for a drink. I ordered a seasonal drink with strong orange flavorings that made it too acidic for my liking. However, the service was wonderful by a staff that is being worked and the shop is cute with three floors and a rooftop. It is a great place to order a drink with friends or study before class.
A cool airy modern cafe. 3 stories of seating. Serving baked goods, bread and a small menu of food plus a coffee shop. But a bit over priced, regardless of inflation. The baked items are great and get a 5 star but over priced. The almond croissant Macaroon chocolate chip toffee and almond cookies are outstanding. I ordered an iced tea and ice coffee are small and not worth the money imo. I ordered the chorizo tacos and they were ok. A bit too fancy for me more of a "Gourmet" take on chorizo tacos. My wife ordered the sunrise sandwich and it was pretty good. The croissant was soft and the farm fresh bacon and eggs were great. The two breakfast items, 5 bakery items and two drinks came up to $62.18, yikes. But like I said the bakery items were great, everything else was ok.
One of my favourite local coffee shops in the area, and the layout plus different levels of seating alone makes for a fun experience dining in. It gets pretty busy during the weekend but the staff are crushing it. You can never go wrong with trying their specialty lattes, i recommend the sweet potato latte which was at the perfect level of sweetness.
This establishment is aesthetically pleasing, with a lovely ambiance and setting. The culinary offerings are delectable, and the coffee is of high quality. The scenic view is breathtaking, and the staff members are courteous and friendly. Although the prices may be slightly elevated, they remain within reasonable limits. I recommend this establishment for a leisurely breakfast or simply as a place to unwind and relax.
The Americano we ordered hit the spot! Almond croissant and raspberry bar were delicious. Must try when in Kansas City Downtown. Parking is fine during weekend. Maybe very difficult during weekdays.
Beautifully done. Great place to visit. Good WiFi coverage, and even a rooftop patio with fireplace and good views. So much here to see, really. Plenty of places to lounge. To be clear, there is a coffee house+roastery and a bakery at this location, so plenty of goodies to snack on. I had a great company holiday party here. It's not cheap to visit, but it's hard to be disappointed at that when looking at how fun the place is and knowing it's in the P&L district.
I ordered a mocha and a cinnamon roll. It’s a busy place so I have waited for a while to get my drink. The mocha was amazing: a considerable amount of cocoa and moderate sweetness. The cinnamon roll was delicious but heavier in the butter
Amazing food! Beautifully decorated! They made me a tea latte exactly yo my specifications ♥️☕🫖 The breakfast sandwich and burrito were HUGE and so delicious!!! The blueberry muffin & blackberry crumble were so good we didn't stop to get a picture!
Touristy hip coffee place where you wait in a huge line. Drinks were good enough but baked goods (the real reason I went there) were disappointing. I didn't feel like carrying a loaf of bread around, so I can't comment on the taste, but the bread looked better than the pastries. Like a bread baker decided to expand into pastry without knowing why a pastry is good. Croissants and pain au chocolat looked ridiculous. Did get a kouign-amann and it tasted ok but was not the best and confirmed that I made the right choice not to get any others. Did get a bagel, and enjoyed that. Didn't enjoy having to struggle to cut it in half with a plastic fork. Yogurt bowl was the best thing we got there.
Coolest coffee shop in the MCI area IMO. 3 stories of bakery, roaster, and coffee shop with a really cool outdoor rooftop patio. They make everything in house including their syrups. The lavender latte with oak milk and goat cheese croissant were on point and so was the atmosphere. At one point they starting roasting a new batch of coffee and the smell was amazing! Spend some time here. You won't regret it.
