This coffee has many things to mention… Structure: the place looks nice and very spacious. You have at least 2 more floors and big tables and smalls livings. Food:, very good quality and fresh. The bad side is that they can not heat up any of the pastry’s they have on the exhibition counter but you can get warm food from the menu. Beverages: we ordered a cappuccino and a matcha, I will say the coffee it is way better. Price: quite a bit expensive, they charge 1,25 extra for milk alternatives. The Avo tortini it is a bit overpriced. Overall it is a good coffee place but a bit pricy.

Messenger Coffee is a trendy place that has a great vibe but the food could use a little bit of work. The food tasted hot and fresh but it just wasn't above and beyond in terms of how impressive it was. It lacked a little bit of seasoning and the salsa that I got with the burrito that I ordered was literally just tomato sauce and wasn't spicy. It didn't have very much seasoning at all so I think they could improve a little bit on the food just based on what I ate I ordered an iced Americano and that tasted good, high-quality coffee. The prices were reasonably priced. I would go there again and give it another shot.

Excellent pastries and coffee. Not too sweet, crispy and crunchy in the right places. I also got the sunrise breakfast sandwich which was delicious. It came with a thick slab of bacon cooked to perfection. Good vibes. Multiple floors to find seating so you’re not fighting over where to sit even though this place tracks a lot of traffic.

I walked here from our hotel and was waiting in line for them to open at 7 am. It just happened to be the day of the Hospital Hill race, but it was near the start line so the road was only closed briefly. I ordered the seasonal matcha and picked up a chocolate banana muffin for the train ride to STL. I checked out the 2nd floor as well as the roof seating area since it wasn't busy yet. I loved the variety of seating options and all of the natural light inside the building. Each floor including the roof had water stations. I was going to use the restroom on the 2nd floor but it required a code. I finally ate the muffin on the train and it was so moist and delicious! I only bought one because there was a staff stocking pastries and she recommended the chocolate banana muffin specifically.

I should be upfront and let you know I don’t drink coffee. That being said my sister does and says this is some of her favorite. In fact, she loved it so much she bought a t-shirt to commemorate the occasion. I can speak to the food though! The menu is simple but complicated because it is hard to choose from. My sister chose a ham and cheese croissant. Which was great, buttery and flakey. What you want a croissant to be. I ordered off the menu. I got the breakfast sandwich. It came with two eggs, thick bacon, cheese, and a herb aioli. All of those lovely things sandwiched between a brioche bun. Which by the way fun fact all of their HOMEMADE baked goods start from a fermented sourdough dough. Can we say win win!?!? The sandwich was great!! Exactly perfection. Healthy serving size. Crispy bacon. Real cheese. A flavorful aioli. A great recommendation from the barista who took my order. The vibe itself of this coffee shop is one to experience if the food and baked goods wasn’t enough of a reason. It is three stories. So go camp out with your laptop, favorite book, or best friend. Soak up the vibe, food smells from the bakery, and the caffeine high from delicious coffee. This is a must stop when you are in the area. The service was ten out of ten. The friendly smiles go a huge way!! Thank you!

Massive bakery and coffee shop that is three floors. The smells as soon as you walk in are amazing. Half of the first floor is the bakery, where you can see all the employees making the delicious creations. Friendly employees and super clean!

My favorite coffee shop to go to while visiting Kansas City from Minneapolis for a volleyball tournament! Went there every single morning! The coffee is great! The variety and the taste of the baked goods is out of this world! Lavender honey financier was to die. All pastries seem to on a lighter sweet side, a which I loved. The hey have 2 levels of seating + a roof top. Highly recommend!

Very cool shop. It was cool to see that they prrof their dough in house. Latte was okay. Had to request more syrup to sweeten it up a bit but overall good visit and very cute cups and store merch

Stopped in a busy Saturday morning (prepare for a longer wait times) and enjoyed an iced chai, cold brew and hot drip coffee. Drip coffee was balanced and clean (5/5), the cold brew was 3.5/5 due to a gritty and earthy flavor (my husband is a coffee snob). I enjoyed the iced chai for an already hot summer morning! Wish we could have checked out the rooftop patio but had our dog with us and were unsure of pets being up there. We will definitely be back the next time we are in KC!

Messenger Coffee is one of my favorite spots in the city! The avocado toast is always a win, and you truly can’t go wrong with any of their baked pastries—the almond croissant is a must-try. I also love the Honey Bear latte for something a little different. The rooftop seating with a view of the city makes it even better. Great coffee, great food, and a great vibe in an ideal location!
