Toni, my granddaughter likes to shop here. I noticed that all of their clothing is clean, well marked with size & price, in good condition. Nothing ragged or dirty. The staff is very accommodating.
The clothes are overpriced for the condition they’re in, and have never seemed clean to me. The staff is also snobby and selectively helps customers, and also approach with their mask under their nose. Not my fav. Could go to goodwill for cheaper.
I went to sell some clothes and was told they could not accept them because they were to “formal” and nice. I thought that is what consumers would like to buy, good quality clothes. Instead I took them to goodwill instead to donate.
Funny how they can’t remember someone who brings in items. Brought in a pair of me free bird boots and was offered $40!!! I was told they just don’t sell them fast….. really?!? I will have better luck getting $150 on them from one of the for sale sites/eBay! $40!!!!! What a joke!!!
They go through buys super quick, the staff are very sweet and helpful, everything is priced reasonably and they have some super cute styles and brands!
So I just came in about 30 mina ago and the first girl I spoke to was very nice advised me to bring in my clothes for sale. I grabbed my clothes and put them on counter only for another girl to tell me she won't take my clothes because I don't have a bag. And I had designer stuff!!! This si terrible customer service. I will not be returning. Thanks.
Owner has a poor attitude. Low balled me tried to pay me 80cents for a top they will sell for $8.00. Had attitude and accused me of waisting their time by brining to many items. I have great cloths. I dont need to sell my clothing to them. I can take it anywhere. Especially since every store in the metro area buys the same inventory for the most part. Very disappointing. But you can find a lot of underpriced items for which they took advantage of someone else on. I always expect that they at least be fair. You can not achieve repeat business otherwise. The target audience are young kids with mommy and daddy's credit card, who dont care about pennies or a few dollars, people living on plastic who will file bankruptcy later and theft networks. I saw a gal with a brand new designer bag (hot item right know in the mall) selling it. Why would someone spend $800 on anything to make $12? Makes no sense. Too bad they cant be fair and appreciate their customers. I work hard for everything I have. I don't need to be treated badly or feel discrminated against or unfairly treated or judged. She lost her mind when she realized I was recieving information as a potential franchise owner, and I had the inside scoop on information she tried to lie about and justify. Not sure I will be returning and I would encorage others to consign first or sell online.
I took 2 black trash bags full of clothes here yesterday and it wasn't my first time doing it. In the bags I had clothes, purses, shoes, etc with brand names such as Coach, Michael Kors, Guess, Juicy Couture and many more. They told me 45 mins and they would be done going through my bags. When I returned to the store, they offered me a whole $2.85 for a pair of leggings and a beanie that weren't even name brand items that were in the bags. And the sad thing is I've seen clothes with holes in them, Wal-Mart brands, etc at this exact location. I am not sure what they consider name brand? And I honestly feel like they didn't go through the bags all the way. When i was given my change many of the employees stared and laughed. This was a waste of time and I will never bring any clothes to sell to them again. They are unprofessional and really don't know what trends are in.
I went to this platos closet today to sell some brand new items but was told the clothes were “outdated” and when i looked at my bin it was never actually appraised. The staff was rude and all seemed like helping me was a problem for them. The girls working had bad attitudes and were snotty. I recommend the location by Park Meadows if you’re trying to sell with them for some general kindness that this location is lacking. I wish i could give no stars.
The buy-back is inconsistent. I don’t understand how some employees will buy certain clothes and say they won’t accept A,B & C for whatever reason and then I took the same box back about 2 weeks later and they bought about 8 items that they refused the last time 😂. They have a good selection and I’ve never had a bad experience with any of the employees but I feel like the buy back program is whoever is working and if they like the clothes or not tbh.
