Plato's closet in general is a joke because there is standard among these stores. Some locations its good quality. Other locations like this one have dingy looking clothes and an odd smell to the store. Almost like a rummage shop. Also in regards to buying things its purely subjective to the individual in charge that day. We've had a handful of items get rejected and then accepted 3 days later. So like I said.. No standard.

I've been here a few times, but this time was extra great! I love the options here but the customer service really set it off this time. Jayfen (or some variation maybe Jaylen) was so friendly! When I walked in the door she immediately greeted me and asked me if I needed any help or was looking for something specific. It made me feel very welcome and more at ease at a time that can be very stressful for me. She also asked me if I needed help when I was looking at some clothes and showed me where things were on two separate occasions! The people at this location are always nice, but she really went the extra mile.

I love this store. 1/6 the price of department stores and they are all in top condition. You also know exactly what your paying unlike department stores.

Would love if they made their website more specific on when they stop buying clothes from customers. It would save plenty of people’s time and effort to get to their store

Decent location and quick service but like My best friends closet not much money offered for items that originally costed me over 20 dollars . Less than ten dollars for two pairs of jeans 🤣🤣? Oh well the staff was sweet .

Very confused on how the selling process works here. Brought in a bunch of name brand clothing some in almost new condition (Forever 21, Zara, H&M, Fabletics, FashionNova, Shein) which are brands their website says they look for and they told me the designs were outdated? A month or two ago I brought in a bag with similar brands and they bought like 4 pieces out of the probably 30 I brought in for $9, said the rest of the clothes were too nice and formal. It seems odd to me the standards are so high when half of their product seems to be wrinkled xs/s pieces or just poor selection in general.

Iv never had a bad experience here before, their racks are always stocked with new stuff. I haven't tried to donate yet but when it looks packed in the store i'm sure they wont take stuff anyway but that's okay. Anyway, employees are always nice and ask if you need anything and are more than happy to help you if needed.

I came in to sell clothes to "Plato's Closet" in aurora because the denver location suggested it to me because I had my ID stolen. When I went in everything went as planned "so far" because I called the day before to let them know my situation, and the lady I talked to said it was OK. So I went in today and one of them said I OK to sell but I came back to ask a question and someone else intervened and she said my clothes smelled like smoke, but I washed them the day before hand To be honest I'm not racist but I'm African American and she was with ... so I had to ask, "Is it because of my race and how I'm dressed?" And she got offended and told me to leave her store because she's the owner .. so I left and was polite. But she was mad, so I can tell when certain Caucasian's don't like African American's. So if your Black don't go there because the so-called manager/owner is a undercover racist. So someone should report their so called owner please.

I went into this store twice today. Let me first say, I'm pretty terrible with fashion- I'm normally a jeans and t-shirt kind of gal. So this young man assisted me the first time I was in. He gave me some advice for a kind of bohemian style that I wanted to try for a date. A young woman also assisted me in finding the perfect skirt for me! When I was finished, they took the things I'd picked and held them for me so I could come back later. When I came back that evening on my lunch, I was helped by three *very* enthusiastic ladies. I was looking for some shoes to go with the clothing. One of them asked to take the shirt and find some shoes in my size. Another pulled down a pair of shoes from behind the counter(the ones I ended up purchasing) and let me try them on. The first girl brought back two pairs of flats. The three ladies in the evening(around 5:30PM) really made my day so much brighter. They brought a true smile to my face and I have never felt SO welcomed at a clothing store before. I will DEFINITELY continue shopping here. Sadly, I did not get any names, but they still won me over. Kudos to this AMAZING staff.

Arrived past selling time on a Sunday… the girl behind the desk I do believe she’s the manage grabbed my stuff and said she will do it. I drove all the way from Thorton and I was so happy that she took the time and had compassion for me! the store is very clean, organized very nice, all the way around my favorite store
