Don’t ever try to sell your clothes at this store. I just tried to sell 2 bags worth of clothes that were not stained, nor ripped, and they didn’t even go through them. They pick and chose what they want. Some of the stuff I had even bought from them originally, and they were in the same condition I bought them. The staff is teenagers with terrible attitudes. Don’t ever sell to them because it’s just a waste of time. They should reconsider who they hire and their standards. I had name brand stuff, they didn’t even bother to look at. Pointless store. I give them a one star because it won’t let me go lower.

Brought in two giant bags of clothes to try and sell. Some clothes were even brand new, I just didn’t return them to the store in time. I had some trendy clothes and designer brands and they turned EVERYTHING down. They only took not even 10 minutes to go through it. I had a designer dress that was worth $600 in that bag…I scored on it and was hoping to pass it down to someone else. Not to mention, the rest of the clothes that were in the store were downright hideous. Everything in there looked like it was from Walmart or Shein. Clearly they need to hire people with better taste.

Giving this place three stars because I came in twice to try to sell some of my clothes and they told me they weren’t accepting it as they were short staffed and backed up with reviewing the clothing. That I understand and didn’t have a problem with, but this last time I called in before coming in and the gal who picked up my phone call let me know that they were accepting clothes and to just come in. I came in and of course they said sorry we are short staff and are no longer accepting any clothes at this moment. Mind you I live about 40 minutes away from them and since this is the third time I’ve come in where they’ve said this I think it’s unprofessional. I wouldn’t have wasted my gas and time to come in after I called and was told to stop by just to get the same answer as the last two times. Other then that the staff was friendly and the place was well organized which is why I’m giving it 3 stars instead of 1.

I brought in a couple bags of old clothes that I would've been happy to get $20 for and I walked out with $42!👍The staff were easy going yet professional. The store had a wide selection of clothes - Most of which were being sold @ fair prices. I didn't find anything I liked in my size (6/M), However there were several other people selling stuff while I was in there... So I bet their inventory changes often enough to make it worth checking back on a regular basis.

I love this place!! Platos closet is just awesome. They have really good brands and I always find something cute when I come in. I particularly liked this location, the girls working there were really nice and the wait time for selling was so fast! At the cherry creek location it was a three hour wait and here it was about 10 minutes. I think some other people leaving reviews are confused on how selling here works. You will not make a living selling to platos closet. However, if you’re cleaning out your closet and want to make some cash off clothes just sitting around that you’re not wearing or would otherwise donate, this place is awesome. I love that they give you cash on the spot unlike other consignment shops that make you wait till it sells. Whenever I’ve brought clothes in to sell they’ve always been able to take at least a few items. The store needs to make a profit so expect to get very little per item but if they can take several things, it adds up! This location in particular had some really great brands, store was clean and had a ton, I will absolutely be back.

Not too pleased with the service received in selling clothing to Plato. Most items I brought in were new if not, barely worn. They gave me the lowest dollar for quality, name brand clothing. I understand the business but at the same time there has to be some integrity in buying clothing from customers. Even when I expressed my dissatisfaction, there was no empathy in return from the store reps. Which made feel like they didn’t care. This was my first and last experience with a consignment store based on this experience. Additionally, the store has a bad smell. I’ve been there three times for this exchange and each time the store reeked with a bad stench. I don’t typically write reviews but that’s how displeased with the service that I felt the need to write about it.

Worst place to go to sell clothes. I had a huge bag full of nice fairly new trending clothes. This is a fact they know nothing, something was Aeropostale I had just bought, but it was the wrong size for me. They told me it was all old and too worn, meanwhile there was tags on almost everything!! It is just so snobby at all of these locations. Don't fund this business take your stuff elsewhere it is not worth it at any of the locations. Nor should anyone apply for a job at this company. It all sucks. All around rude people. I wish I had better suggestions as where else but these people are so stuck-up.

Im not a big complainer but I have to say, not a very good selection (at least for men) clothes are over priced for not very good condition of the clothes. Customer service as well is NOT good either. Brought 4 brand new with tags pairs of jeans that were folded and was offered 10 bucks. Not even store credit do they offer anything higher in value which makes no sense. When i respectfully declined and asked for my clothes back was returned with my jeans unfolded just strait rudely did the associate say oh"sorry" once she seen I was visibly irritated. Needless to say I will not suggest this place to anyone and if I ever want to sell clothes in the future I will never come to this place again.

I came in to sell some of my clothing and before I came in I looked online to see the clothes ya'll would take. My clothes were also pretty new and in great shape. They looked at my clothes and when they were done, told me that they didn't have room to take any, but "were great." Not to mention the ladies in there were very snotty and made me feel like I wasn't worth their time. Not a good location to shop or sell.

After reading the reviews here, I have to say it's seems the customer service and friendliness of the staff has improved. They have a good selection of trendy teen and young adult clothing. However, there is absolutely nothing for the Plus sized group...they ONLY selI up to a size 13/14 or XL at this location. When I inquired about this and was told they don't normally get those sizes in. Well, this was an interesting response...I have visited several consignment and resale shops and all had plenty of selections in plus size.
