I was the first person in line and i had 3 bags of clothes (big black trash bags) i left and within 10 minutes i got a text saying they were ready. they wanted to buy everything in the bags for $15. it was the girl with the short hair and big glasses who almost always has hickies on her neck who did my buy and was incredibly rude. it was a total joke. it was nothing but shein and fashion nova in there. they also claim that they don’t take any Walmart but yet they have purchased my Walmart before and it’s not hard to miss walmart products on the racks. Why is every single pair of jeans ripped??????!!!!!! every time I come in here to shop, I’m always greeted by a half n@ked girl at the front. They are NEVER dressed appropriately. as i always shop i have workers pacing by me like i’m shoplifting. it is ridiculous. Dress your employees better and get better products.
LOVE this Plato‘s Closet!!! Highly highly recommend. They have such cute items at great prices. I was in today and Dakota is the sweetest and so incredibly helpful. I appreciate her so much for her assistance today and for helping me add so many new cute items to my closet! Dawn is amazing. She took care of us today and was so graceful and helpful. We asked her to show us many items up front and usually we receive bad service but not with dawn. She was wonderful.
I wish I had used it before. Staff was friendly. Service was fast.
I am not one to leave reviews, but this is by far the WORST Plato’s close I’ve ever sold to. I dropped off 2 bins & one bag, waited over 4 hours & tried to call multiple times (their phones don’t even ring, just straight to voicemail) just to be told they were only taking 3 items from the bag. They did not even OPEN the other bins, things were still folded exactly the way I placed them inside of them. I had tons of new with tag lululemon items & Free People that they clearly didn’t even look at. I was browsing while I waited and saw Old Navy from 2002, a rain jacket that was falling apart and rotted and the dirtiest white nikes I’ve ever seen but they don’t want brand new clothes apparently. Why make me wait so long to not even look through everything? Put a limit on donations if you have to but continually wasting people’s time is insane. I think Plato’s are usually franchised and the one in Littleton is amazing, but I would give 0 stars here if I could, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!! *update* after taking the exact same bins to the Plato’s in Littleton the very next day without even re-folding anything, they took 15 of my items and gave me around $100, because the stuff I had was good and worth it. I promise you if you are able to it is so worth the drive to go to the Little location!
Amazing inventory! Great finds at low prices. Lulu lemon shorts for $18!!! Lots of great name brands. Super nice & hardworking owner! To no surprise the store was busy. Highly reccomend this location!!
Went to this store today, I was there to buy a pair of leather shorts. My total comes out to $9.75, to be exact. I enter my phone number for rewards, I only have 2 points (which you can’t cash In for anything) Im autistic, I don’t make eye contact and keep conversations short. The cashier (female 40+ years old) looks me up and down and asks for my ID to match my rewards, I only had my debit card and proceed to show her and she said it’s not sufficient. I told her I didn’t have my ID on me and she asked me to show her my APPLE ID NAME! She asked for all of this in a tone as if I was stupid or something. Very rude tone and attitude. my sister drove me 45 minutes to try and find the shorts I was looking for, so I wasn’t going to cancel my transaction over something so petty. She then finished my transaction with an attitude and walked over to the cashier that was helping my sister (because the cashier needed assistance) and proceeded to be very rude to her employee and embarrasses her by “do you understand?!?” Very loudly. The rest of the crew was great and very helpful, they offered to hold my items at the dressing room area while I continued to browse around the store.
Great place! Just got a brand new carhart jacket for a fraction of the cost
I went into this location wasn’t even greeted. The girls just stayed behind the counter and did not seem happy to be there. One looked like she practically rolled out of bed and the other didn’t dress very cute either. I approached them and asked them how they worked to sell clothes to them and she told me they look at them and it would take about 45 minutes, they would text me with an offer and the offer would be cash or in store credit. All of that sounded fine but she didn’t even make eye contact and seemed annoyed with me asking. I was super turned off by the staff. I will go to My Best Friend’s Closet over them any day! My Best Friend’s Closet has a way better feel and all of the girls are super friendly. They also have a better variety and I cannot stress enough how much more ORGANIZED they are! Also My Best Friend’s Closet offers cash on the spot or DOUBLE in store credit!
Came here an hour before they closed because I’m an a**hole but also because I was sad and needed some quick retail therapy and the girls were super accommodating and sweet!! They were a great part of my experience at this store. HOWEVER Platos Closet as a company is a joke. Forever 21 and other fast fashion brand jeans were $17-$30?!?! I can get that at the store for that price and it would be new! I think they missed their own point. I’ll stick to a regular thrift store.
Shopped their sale bins outside and came in and Cher the owner immediately offered me a bag then told me I couldn't walk around with the bag it's policy all bags go behind the counter so I let her know I wasn't sure if I wanted the items and would carry them in my hands so I can try on and look at them while I shop and decide and she refused to let me hold any items while I shopped saying it was policy but then multiple other people were carrying bags of clothes. She also kept harassing me my entire shopping experience trying to take the clothes when I was unsure if I wanted them and offered to kick me out when I told her I didn't appreciate being singled out and harassed. I ended up getting the pants I needed but won't return to this location due to extremely poor ownership and the immediate harassment from first step in the door. CHAR OR CHER THE OWNER. Support better local businesses than her.
