I went in today in the after noon preparing for a busy and gross store like it had been in the past. The employee greeted me at the door, not in a pushy way. The store was clean, well organized, not a piece of clothing on the ground and smelled amazing. the employees were lovely, extremely helpful but not overbearing. I had an awesome associate named Julie, I believe; who helped me from the start. When checking me out she was genuine, and her working with her manager was some of the best communication and team work I have seen in teen, even as a high school teacher, and you could tell they enjoyed the environment very much. Julie folded my clothes perfectly, and asked my id and card so kindly. Very impressed with these young ladies and whoever runs this establishment. You could tell they pick their staff with amazing character. Had to come rave about it. Will be shopping again very soon.
I went in to sell a bin of clothes and they told me it was a 4-5 hour wait so I told them no problem and left. Came back 3+ hours later when I got a text that it was done to find out that they didn’t even look in my bin and passed on everything because they had to many items in store. All of this would have been fine had they not made me wait 3+ hours! When I opened it to check if they went through it, it looked like they just shuffled the top around and left clothes hanging out with the lid on so now some of them are really wrinkled. Also told me to come back after a month and they’ll look. Really disappointed with this location.
Don't waist your time!! I did a walk through everything was very old faded durty not very organized things looked more like good Will clothes but don't take the new things I had the girl infornt of me had like 5 bags and they didn't take thr stuff smh I wonder if they r more of a goodwill store .goodwill in Thornton is every clean nice clothes though 👌 I will not shop thr r take anything thr clothes r rags not in good selling condition
I stopped by on Wednesday 08/24. I’ve been selling with this Plato’s Closet for a few years, usually once every few months to declutter my closet, so I’m familiar with their selection - what they’re more likely to buy and what not to bring to avoid wasting both of our time. The lady who greeted and checked me in was polite and lovely; she said the wait would be 10 minutes, so I decided to stay and looked around. I didn’t intend to purchase anything that day so I kept an eye on my 2 bags that were on the counter for 5+ minutes. A young girl then took my bags down behind the counter for maybe 1-2 minutes and I immediately got a text saying that my buy was complete. I went over to the counter and the lovely lady asked if I got a text, I said yes. She told me that they couldn’t take anything and the reasons were the clothes were old and not teeny. I thanked her for helping me and left. When I got home, everything looked exactly the same way how I organized it - since almost half of the clothes I brought in was new with tags, I carefully folded and made sure the tags were visible hopefully they were more likely to be picked out. Everything seemed untouched. I was disappointed. Maybe the employee was tired and having a bad day. Maybe they were overstocked and couldn’t buy anything, but it is important to be honest and sincere with the customers. I would like to give Plato’s Closet another try soon and hopefully the service would improve next time.
This is my fav Plato’s Closet location! I purchased a few of my favorite dresses here, plus a cowboy hat, boots, and an outfit to wear for line dancing 🤠. Staff members are friendly, the store is clean and organized, the special events are fun, and the inventory is great!
Staff was helpful and process was done at the time estimated. The maroon haired girlie was friendly. Another girlie wasnt, but maybe she wasn't having a good day. Either way, hassle free process as always. Plus they had a 90% off sale going.
This specific location stinks! It smells like a mix of stinky perfume and worn/dirty clothes. (definitely not the smell of essential oils). The selection wasn’t very good either. A few of the items I was looking at had stains on them. Why would anyone want to spend money on stained clothing? I left within 5 minutes and will not be returning. There are better Plato’s closet locations out there. The owner of this location should go visit the other stores to see just how much the Westminster location is lacking.
I just want to say, that the girls working here are always kind. I'm always greeted with smiles. My issue is with the buys. I have brought in so many gently used clothes, and they usually take one or two items. I know what I'm bringing is up to date, but I feel like this store is looking for "brands" and not unique, quality products. I've seen stuff around the store that was either dirty, or the shoes were far too worn all because it's a well known brand.
The blonde girl I sold my clothes to was extremely rude; this might be the last time I go to that place.
I brought some stuff to this location to sell for the first time yesterday and I was really happy with how easy it was. The staff was super friendly and made me a fair offer on my stuff. I ended up shopping while I was waiting and found some almost new Lululemon leggings for only $30! They also had Patagonia jackets and other awesome winter stuff. I will definitely be back with my daughter.
