This location is by far THE WORST location in the city and surrounding areas, not only do they NOT truly look through your items , they also stop buying back based on how THEY feel. It makes no sense to be open until 9 pm , but stop accepting buys at 2:30 & 3:00 in the afternoon. Its absolutely ridiculous. I could be wrong, but it also seems as if they only buy things based on their PERSONAL preferences, and not according to what they state is needed.... and dont even get me started on the "no plastic bag" policy that had be at Burlington's next door BUYING "acceptable" bags....its truly a waste of time.
The description on their new location is a whole LIE. I drove halfway across town in multiple circles🔁 looking for the old location at first until I was made aware they were moving to a new location by Google maps. That is when I Made Circle ⭕️#4🔄 and drove to the new location which it says very clearly on Google Maps now open closes at 9 PM. LIE. BIG BIG LIE. Where is my gas refund?⛽️🫴🏼💵Lord knows I paid five dollars a gallon and just wasted a cool 15bucks driving in circles🤬🔄 —1️⃣out of5️⃣⭐️— only because 🚫is not an option. Would not recommend🙅🏻♀️
I took 4 pair of boots barely worn and 2 really nice leather bags with some sweaters to the Park Ave location. The young lady took 3 pair of the boots, 1 sweater and gave me 19.00. I asked if she could at least round it up to 20.00. She states the computer calculates prices. I looked around at some of the items they have and I promise the sweaters I took in looked a lot better than the items I saw on the shelves. So basically, I received 5.00 for each pair of boots and 4 dollars for the sweater.I could have more than that at a yard sale. My first and last time going there.
Very rude staff and management they very picky and they profile they are very judgmental I had it’s that wear going to be bought but someone else came and said the couldn’t buy them due to damaging I waisted gas several of times and those same item I took to Cordova location I will never visit park & my Moriah ever again the manager in there is profiling because I gave my cousin some items they turned me down but they bought them from hear unbelievable I guess if I need some bought I have to go through cuz
They don’t want to give you no money for your merchandise. They lie about their reasons about my merchandise it was nothing wrong with my things. The location is in Memphis
Dave needs to find someone else to manage this store. Tracy is HORRIBLE! Worst I’ve seen yet. They didn’t even start buying until 3pm, let’s start there. Came in with a quoted 30-40min wait time. 2hours later items had not even been gone through. Meanwhile, Tracy, who’s managing the store, is walking around with an earpiece in having a personal conversation that had nothing to do with the business of Plato’s. Mind you, I counted at least 6 associates behind the counter, so provided that someone is actually running the business, there should be no reason for excuses. Tracy had associates literally asking her questions while she was on the phone (personal call) and she was so distracted she was ignoring them. She was also ignoring the 3 customers standing at the counter. One of which who’s buy had been completed. This lady is unprofessional and is not fit to lead a team of teenagers who don’t want to be there in the first place. This type of subpar customer service will surely deter loyal customers who expect much more. I kindly took my lululemon and Nike athletic wear somewhere else after having 2 hours of my time wasted with no apology nor explanation. Excuses only.
I was in there today and I was going to just leave out from the service I was getting the owner came to assist and he was very helpful I'm not a quick sale or buy I had questions and he provided good customer service and great suggestion ideas with that being said I will be back.
Approximately 4:40pm on Friday May 23 I brought in a bag full of LuLu Lemon and Brand New American Eagle Shorts with tags still attached. After waiting 2 hours I found out that my items had been entered incorrectly. Maddie who has the worst attitude in the world made the situation completely worse by being disrespectful and unprofessional. She made the mistake and attempted to take her frustration out on me. I kindly took all of my LuLu and Brand new clothes elsewhere. Maddie is always rude, aggressive, and unprofessional. She never smiles, is not welcoming nor personable and abuses customers. Please review footage from this day and time stamp.
Been there several times and wasted my gas only to be told they had cut off buying hours early. There's no way to get through if you call to find out what time they cut off. I asked the manager how am I supposed to know this because I've already come out here twice. She said it just fluctuates daily. I was in at 6:00 p.m. she told me they cut off at 5:00. Told me the day before they cut off at 3:00. I mean how are you supposed to take your clothes in when you never know when they're going to cut off their buying time?? Not to mention she was extremely rude and unhelpful. As stated wasted gas several times trying to go over there so will not go back to this location ever!!
My fav place to shop for clothes, name brand for the cheapest price 😊💯
