Female employee extremely rude. Had to ask about current sale for the day. No signs up & no one greeted us. This location was relocated from a previous location. Stay away from this Horrible Customer service store.
I was told that my clothes where shrunk and the condition of the clothes were bad but after pulling each item out the employee even stated they were good and in perfect condition no holes or stains
If you're looking for a quick and cheap purchase, this is the place. You can also bring your clothes or shoes in good condition to be recycled for a small amount of money in return.
There is quite a bit of things to look for here. The selection is vast with options at all sizes. They have athletic clothing, dress clothing, casual wear, shoes, belts, etc. They will have one shoe out and the other behind the counter. Be careful if paying cash. There isn't even a penny shortage yet, but will say they don't have any pennies so will short you because of it. It may not seem like much but it adds up for each person.
Most of their staff are young adults who can’t handle rude or drunk customers. When someone comes in causing trouble for others they just smile and laugh instead of doing anything about it
It was ok I dropped my clothes and shoes to sell. Got a text message my sale was ready, the young lady said it was an accident then I was told that I could sale my tennis shoes in which all are in excellent condition only worn twice and some had NEVER BEEN WORN. It was an insult to me when I was offered $7.00 and they would profit %70. I politely took my shoes I can sell on Mercari or somewhere. I would NOT RECOMMEND that store to anyone it is a rip off. Knowing fully we'll they will sale way more than what they offer. Maybe people are hard up for money
The customer service and cleanliness of this place is impeccable. I can also appreciate the new inventory they have put out. Keep up the good work guys. I'm on the lookout for holiday sales😁
Female mgr very professional and resonable. Young man snobish. Mgr took second look at my merchandise and was there with me. I brought brand new high-end items for sale might have been worn one time before. These were mixed in with others the young man snobbishly overlooked products it still have price tags on them. Never judge a book by a cover. The items that were too high end for Plato's Closet the female manager advised me of where to take them. When you're looking to sell here keep in mind it is geared towards young adults and teenagers. If it is too high end they cannot deal with it because they are dealing with teenagers.
Giving one star is being generous. I've seen them treat their employees like crap, firing them left and right for no legit reasons. It's not even this branch only, it's all the branches. And don't even get me started on their merchandise. Just don't go to Plato's Closet in general.
Brought in clean, some items were brand new, current season and style as well as some vintage pieces. The same girl who declined all my pieces was showing another customer what she bought and several pieces were dirty and tossed in a garbage bag. The items in the store were also dirty and outdated. I sell all the time and just moved from NYC where I sold and recycled clothes. I have never been turned away with nothing bought and I have been selling clothes over a decade to Buffalo Exchange! I will never return to this store! Only positive thing was the only male ( sorry forgot to ask his name) in the store was pleasant and appeared to be doing most of the work!
