Plymouth Rock Assurance has terrible customer service. I’ve spent hours just trying to get clear communication from them on my claim and next steps. They wait for you to do the leg work and unless you are constantly on top of them, you don’t get what you are entitled to. I never write reviews on company’s but this experience has been so terrible and created a lot of unnecessary work and stress.
The worst insurance company that I ever had in my 38yrs driving the prices r in sane & then they jus going into ur bank account & deduct any thing they can from u ! @ the end of my policy 2 was before I dropped them I did a vehicle change & they went in & took money !! Disgusting would not referring them 2 any 1 !!
Customer service is a joke...you have to call several times for follow ups and payments...All the representatives dont call back at all ...Plymouth rock treats you like an option not a priority....I dont know why I have to continuously call Plymouth rock representatives to follow up on the simplest things
Horrendous - will be switching out at the end of this year. I was involved in a major car accident on November 26th, 2024 -- in which I was not the at fault driver. There has been practically zero communication from claims or customer care; a total of two phone calls from them - one of which I chased them down for, and I have spent over a thousand dollars in rentals since. After the accident, it was over 5 days after that I actually heard from them, and when their damage appraiser finally got to the car, he conveniently deemed my brand new 2025 Mazda as "repairable", and grossly underestimated the damage, adding WEEKS to the process - and two MONTHS later I STILL DON'T HAVE MY CAR BACK. I text and get no replies, when you try to use their website and find email contacts, you find the buttons have no links and are all broken. Absolutely abhorrent.
Absolutely the worst insurance company I have delt with. Got into a car accident with someone who’s insured through them , had to pay out of pocket for a rental because I had to wait for the police report and it was also on a Friday evening and I needed a rental that night. I’ve been waiting to get a refund processed since the month of July we are now about to be in October. Not to mention I reached out to the claim adjustable for 2 months straight and could never get ahold of her. I then had to request to speak to a manager and was told my refund would be processed on 8/18 after already waiting for almost 2 months. I then had to call back in on 9/9 because I never received the check was told the check was never sent and would be sent that day and would take 7-10 business days it is now 9/25 and I have yet to receive the check. I just called in to speak to someone and all they can say is” well the check was issued”. Like be forreal.
This is by far the worst company I have ever worked with for auto insurance. Customer service was atrocious from the start, they made my wife feel stupid because of questions she had, said they normally don’t work with the body shop we chose and gave us a hard time from the first time we spoke. They do not answer the phone and when they do call back it’s at weird times and right before they close and they leave a message. So if you enjoy bad customer service, phone tag and a company that try’s to fight every claim made, this is your place! Please stick with better companies even if you pay alittle more.
Plymouth Rock Assurance customer portal is problematic for users. Changing password, printing document etc. Not as user friendly as most of the sights I use.
Although I fault Plymouth Rock for selecting a slow repair shop, after 50 days of delay, insurance came through to make me whole for the total loss of my son's vehicle. Thank you very much.
This outfit is an absolute clown show masquerading as a legitimate business. Save your money and protect your sanity: do NOT give these clowns a single cent. They were so incompetent (or just plain sleazy) that they subcontracted some low-rent outfit that straight-up illegally trespassed onto my property to do their so-called “surveying.” No permission, no notice, just brazen criminal behavior on my land. Zero accountability, zero professionalism, maximum liability risk. Avoid like the plague. Your wallet and your property will thank you.
Cannot recommend for homeowners. They are a subcontractor for Progressive. After signing up with them and fully disclosing property details. They came to do "measurements" which turned out to be a very aggressive inspection. They found "serious" violations (which I had already disclosed up-front and was accepted). Serious violations included, farm animals,a woodpile, 10% moss on the north side of roof, and carpenter bee damage on a few pieces of overhangs. Unless your house is brand new, I wouldn't waste your time with them. They will cancel you anytime for any reason.
