I recently bought a house and I got home insurance with Plymouth Rock. I bundled in my home and auto under umbrella policy. I was paying over 4200 a year. I thought if I payed more I’d have better coverage and covers everything! They assured me when I was signing up I didn’t have to worry about anything and I was covered for almost everything and as a new home owner I can rest easy. 2 month in I found out my AC unit wasn’t working and it needed to be replaced. When I signed up they told me ac unit would be covered. Of course they found a loop hole to not pay for the AC unit. They made me wait over a month for a response and I had no AC on my floor. I’d stay far away from these people and stick with big guys .. all state , Libirty mutual or GEICO.
One of the most pleasant experience I’ve ever had with an insurance company. Called the customer service line as I needed to pay for my renewal they were polite they were informative they helped me with additional discounts. It’s a very personable interaction doesn’t feel like they’re reading from a script which makes me feel a lot more comfortable.
This review is my own and I am not speaking on anyone else's behalf. This is in regards to auto accident claims. In December 2021, I was involved in a "fender bender" where a very tall SUV (a Suburban) impacted the left side of my vehicle, damaging the door panel and the sideview mirror. I immediately made a claim. I filed all of the necessary information, to include uploading the other driver's license and insurance via the online portal (not the mobile one, the actual website). A week later a claims adjustor by the name of Kristian Overt was assigned to the claim. This adjustor was inconsistent with his responses-it took him nearly 3 weeks to reach out to me. And he always called during work hours-when I work, it is difficult for me to answer calls and I explicitly stated this in my initial statement regarding the claim. However, no changed were made. 6 weeks later, he claimed that they could not find the other driver. I stated that I submitted all of the necessary information via the online portal. Somehow, Plymouth Rock (PR henceforth) claimed no such information was received (fortunately I took a screenshot of the information submission confirmation). Even with this, PR claimed they could find no such documents. Upon making the necessary complaints, Kristian Overt reached out requesting the other driver's information. I submitted his insurance and license information to include the photos I had applied in the initial claim. A week later Overt claimed the database could not find this driver. Now, here's the despicable part. Once Overt told me this, I filed a dispute claiming the insurance database is as far-reaching and ubiquitous as the FBI database-any known driver can be found. No response even after days of follow up. I received a text message approximately a week prior to this review from Overt asking if I wanted to "continue with the claim." I said "yes." As of today, PR CLOSED the claim without my consent. The damage this has done is horrible. Not only did PR filed in the national insurance database that the accident was my fault (without conducting an appropriate investigation) but now it has raised my insurance rates with other companies. My advise is to boycott PR and its employees and conduct business with other companies. I am visiting a branch Monday to speak my mind and obtain justice in this matter.
This is a horrible insurance company. The agents never return your calls and they are very overpriced. Don't count on them to help you if you have a claim just find a better insurance company
Horrible insurance company. There is some type of cliche in there system that wants to cancel my policy every year in December. I have received 3 different emails on the same day indicating different conflicting information regarding my policy. I am currently shopping for a new auto policy as for I can no longer handle the stress this company has caused in delivering false information yearly. The associates that I have spoken to on the phone deliver different information each time. Nothing seems to be uniformed. I just received a policy increase and not a single person can explain why. I have been accident free and no apparent reasons for a policy increase. There should be a class action lawsuit against this company. I’m currently in contact with legal advice. I will update at a further date.
Anyone talking down on this insurance company is insane, I spent so long trying to find a reasonable car insurance price for monthly payments and not only did they accommodate to my multiple obstacles, stupid questions and attitude but they literally answered a stupid question I had after hours, after our conversation, off the clock on their own personal time. They have been nothing less than reliable very informative and god knows patient with me. Giving honest responses with reasonable prices. Very happy with the services especially my representative Camille Ramnarine, (GIVE THIS LADY A RAISE) Most importantly if your reluctant to get insured with this company try talking to Camille before you write a bad review.
Started a claim on September 25,2022. September 26statred the nightmare. Claim rep started making accusations and giving me misinformation. Did what he asked and myself and my witness were insulted, disrespected and condesended upon. But I get upset or swear they close my claim and nothing happens to them for escalating the situation or for there insulting comments or the unprofessional attitude. My agent isn't even using them again and 3out of 4 body shops refused to work on my car because I have Plymouth Rock. I recommend not using them as they are very unprofessional. I switched to a new company based on this and that caused more comments from the supervisor.
Tried getting a car insurance quote via their website. Hit an error on their website saying there is a glitch and to try again later. I forget about it and a sales rep emails me after a few days asking for a phone call. I tell him about the bug and he says they have to do all their quotes on the phone. I tell him I don't want to do a call but can answer questions via email and he says they can't do accurate quotes this way. I received quotes from 7 other companies fully online and don't want to have to talk to a salesperson to get a simple quote! The fact they used an error message to push prospects to a phone call should also be looked into.
DO NOT use this insurance company. They use delay tactics and don’t cover the rental until your car is finished being repaired. I got t-boned and this is the insurance of the person at fault. I filed the claim and sent pictures within less than 48 hours after the accident. They stalled and I was unable to drive a my vehicle for 2-3 weeks while they “approved their client was at fault.” He openly admitted he was at fault from day 1. My claim handler was Jillian Hirst. When I was finally able to get my vehicle to a shop, the shop had to send over a supplement and they let it sit there for more than 2 weeks. During that time, the part that was needed for my vehicle got put on national back order for 3 weeks because they sat on their hands. Then they said that they were not going to cover the rental past the 23rd of March. I called multiple times, left messages and it took more than a week for Julia Esposito to finally call me back just to gaslight me and insist that they didn’t get the supplement until the end of February, after I told her that it was sent in the being of February. The collision center sent over proof of when it was sent. They still denied covering the rental any further than the 23rd of March. I have been calling the supervisor Eric Lenarsky and have left him multiple messages and after 2 weeks, not a word from him. My car is still being repaired and it’s April 20th. It probably still has another week and I am expected to pay out of pocket for the rental for the last month. I have never heard of an insurance company not covering the rental for the duration of the repair. Thanks to their delay tactics and not handling the supplement sent over by the collision center, I am still without my vehicle and having to pay for a rental for the last month. Do yourself a favor and go with Geico or some other insurance company. This company will mishandle your claim and cause you unnecessary anxiety and stress like they did me. They will ignore your calls and messages and leave you broke because you will have to pay your own rental even though it was their mishandling of your claim that led to you having to be in a rental for so long.
This is a complaint about DANA GRZEIK. I was hit by a person with this insurance. I never really got to speak to anyone after I made the claim. Dana Grzesik- a claim representative that never reached out to me by phone call. In the text messages, she sent me. She didn’t even include her personal number so I had no way of reaching anyone through this process. I ended up speaking to the manager and he was great and handled the situation. Dana finally called me and honestly it was the most awkward rude conversation I’ve ever had. This woman decided called me a give me an attitude.. Dana doesn’t know how to communicate properly and honestly, it was just so much unnecessary frustration. Again, Dana, you are very unprofessional and rude. Maybe some retraining would help her with her ignorance. I have also received no apology of course!
