Most of the time I enjoy going to Publix. This one at Arlington was similar except some small differences. The deli lady although kind as most Publix employees she took forever to make my sub sandwich. Publix as a whole is usually 5 stars all around but the speed making subs leaves me wanting. That being said it's still worth the wait the subs are always delicious
Came into the store to by a cake with a group of kids and didn't buy the cake because the person making cakes looked at me and my children as if we did something wrong
The deli bread for subs should be checked regularly through the day.... Most times it is hard and just crumbles apart. Not to mention how it cuts up your mouth.
No green cabbages, no canadian bacon, took forever in the deli as usual. Service and produce quality has declined while prices have climbed.
MY CASHIER WAS NERRISSA AND SHE’S EXCELLENT. SHE HELPED ME USE MY GIFT CARD. THE STORE MANAGER JENNIFER SHOULD BE HAPPY TO HAVE HER AS AN EMPLOYEE AND DOES A GREAT JOB WITH THE STAFF SHE HAS. got off work after a long day waited in line for 25+ mins as one worker worked through the line of 5 people meanwhile the other worker worked exclusively on mobile orders. this experience was totally unsatisfactory and unlike other publixs in the area
I came here during my lunch break to order a pub sub, I only have 30 mins for lunch, I’ve been waiting for 14 mins.. only one person in front of me. Two employees behind the counter. Guy behind the counter told me to wait to order since he had multiple orders ahead of me. I’m thinking it was online orders. He proceeded to make 4 subs, I’m watching it as I type this. In person orders should be prioritized. I rarely write bad reviews, this one had to be done. 17 mins in, my sub is being made. I’m sure everyone has bad days, that should be left at home, not in the work place. One thing I know, I will NOT be shopping here again. Slowest service in Jacksonville. 🥴🥴🥹🥹

Usually while getting a sub, the line takes longer than normal but today I had the honor of meeting ChrisAngela and she had very great customer service. She made me the best sub I’ve had there so far. The sub was so good loaded up with buffalo ranch, lettuce all the good stuff and she made sure I had the freshest lettuce on. She also maintained a clean workspace throughout the whole time of making my meal and kept great conversation. Overall she was amazing and I left satisfied with my food .
After all these years they still don’t check temps on the deli chicken. Food thermometers should be common practice in 2026.
