Qfc will always be a favorite. It’s such a nice place and they always have everything you are looking for. They even have samples! Employees are very nice and so is the security guard.

I dropped two green bottle drop bags off at this location last week and they mysteriously disappeared and our account was never credited. The bottle room looked pretty empty and I know my stickers were properly affixed because I always affix them right before I drop the bags. Never had this happen anywhere else. Also this store never seems staffed and often times I go in and there are no checkers and the self checkout line extends to the back of the store. Will stick to the location by where I live and not this one by where I work. You need to do better QFC because you basically stole $16 from me by losing my bags of cans. That I paid the deposit for.

Hit and miss on stock, and too much Kroger merchandise for my taste. Generally courteous and helpful staff, just seems like going there to shop often requires a second shopping expedition to Fred Meyers or Safeway to finish off the list. Used to be out go to store - now more of a convenience in the neighborhood.

It's great to have a small grocery store in the heart of the neighborhood. Things that would make it better: 1) more consistent pricing. An item might be $2.50 on Monday and $5 on Tuesday -- it's maddening. And digital coupons suck. 2) Secure, covered bicycle parking. This is Portland, so why is there a huge lot in the back with dozens of spaces for cars, and zero for bikes?

Small store, has most of what I want. Good deals on meats. Parking can be rough. Staff is friendly. Nothing special.

Terrible selection. Long lines. It’s a weird group of employees that work the front end. Except for Buck. He’s just trying to help get people through checkout in a store that relies nearly 90% on self check. Good dude. Saw and listened to the younger, super skinny, blond with curly hair and horn rimmed glasses guy/front end employee berating an older woman employee in the loading dock area for something she had done in the store. It was brutal. Mismanaged store for sure. Needs a personnel overhaul.

Has all the basics you need but is priced higher than a Safeway, Fred Meyer or Trader Joe's. My biggest issue is that this location has become an acceptable hangout for a large number of homeless and transients which makes the whole experience of shopping here unpleasant. Nothing appears to be done by the management to keep them from wandering the store and harassing passerbys.

Poor parking, cramped store, absolutely zero gluten-free selections, a slightly better (meaning they have 2 Towns) cider selection. Their produce is okay, though the selection is small. They do carry Turkey Pastrami, which I enjoy immensely for breakfast.

Great store and convenient to my neighborhood. The only drawback is it's a little small and might not have every single thing you could be looking for. But it's still amazing to have as a clean, friendly store that's within walking distance!

This place is right on my way to work so I stop here often just for the convenience. Getting help has always been difficult but today really clenched it…I waited at the bakery counter from 11:08am to 11:20 am (yes, I clocked it) as I wanted to treat myself to one of their beautiful desserts. It’s not that the counter wasn’t staffed, there WAS an employee working, just not for me. Assuming she was looking for gloves, I decided to be patient, but when she turned her back to me and proceeded to walk sideways back and forth behind the counter in order to avoid eye contact, I knew…there would be no dessert today. I thought I could wait her out but 12 minutes of awkwardness was enough and I just walked out the door empty handed. I’m in full agreement with what another person wrote about Ace Hardware having AMAZING customer service and being a model example of what the Sellwood community should feel like. Sorry QFC, I won’t be back, there are local businesses that make wonderful desserts I’d rather give my time and money to.
