QFC

I will never step foot in a QFC ever again after the pure harassment and discrimination I endured at the Moreland location(6411 SE Milwaukie Ave Portland, OR 97202). It happened at approximately 12:25 am on 06/04/2025. As soon as I walked in I started being followed by the security guard. I had my earbuds in and was just trying to grab some groceries before they closed at 1 am. First, he walks up to me and asks me what I am doing. I told him I was grabbing some food things. He proceeded to literally be within 3 feet no matter where I went. Then as I was using my phone to scan a QR code he again stopped me and said "what's up with the pictures? Why you taking so many pictures??" To which I replied "Are you messing with me or are you just an idiot? Cus obviously that's how digital coupons work." This is when he said I wasn't allowed to shop there anymore and had to leave. If I didn't leave he would call the cops. Now tell me what I did wrong? And why was he even speaking to me? In what policy of QFC does it say that a security can harass a customer and literally follow them like a shadow and talk to them whenever he wants. Plus, like I said there were multiple other people there but he only followed me. Plus, I swear I heard him mutter "Always gotta keep an eye on these people". On top of it all, if he was in the right then why didn't any other workers back him up? Nobody said anything when he said I had to leave. This is straight up discrimination, I literally haven't even been to that QFC for over 5 years, so him profiling me made no sense. I need management to reach out to me ASAP so we can discuss where to go from here. What he did is not okay and I am not going to take it laying down.

Great value and good quality. Has everything I look for when doing my weekly shopping plus a hot and cold deli. Got the fried chicken while I was there, great service, great chicken.

They do have a bit of everything there, some not so specific items were needed, and we found alternatives here. Decent selection, checker was friendly and fast.

Long lines to check out. Only one register open and self check. I have never heard them announce need for additional staff to assist check out. I have ended up leaving without my groceries several times due to time standing in line! Love their clearance rack and weekly ad.

It's alright here at this store except loss prevention is not ashamed to follow anybody around. When you're there just getting some things to snack on while fishing and they're following you like you stole something it can be a bit uncomfortable. I don't steal and don't like being treated like I did. Thank but no thanks QFC

I shop here because of its location. If there was another store closer I would probably shop elsewhere. The staff there not so friendly, and always being stalked by security around the store isn't the best either. But ...it's reasonably close to where we live.

Barbaric bathroom policy, not only do you need a code to unlock the door but they send someone to unlock it rather than telling you the code. You also need to get a receipt first. They call this over their store intercom. I waited for 5 minutes for an employee to unlock it and I ended up leaving to find a different restroom. I have a medical condition that makes it so I need to use the restroom urgently at times so the wait after having to buy something first was unbearable. Policies like this are inhumane and anti human. It’s flat out cruel.

Usually when I shop at this location customer service is 5 star. However today I waited for about eight minutes for a young man to finish making a sandwich. Another customer walked up over by the fried food and I was ignored as he turned when he was finished with the sandwich to helped the other young man. Really poor customer service. I won’t be back.

Good neighborhood store for light shopping, for me. The help are nice, polite helpful. I usually find what I need. Prices seem higher than the bigger chain stores.

this is my go-to store, and recently it seems to have gone extremely downhill. the first few times i let it slide, but today was my final straw. i somehow keep ending up with “fresh” expired or moldy food. once, my fiance went back to return moldy parmesan, only to find every single replacement on the floor also covered in mold, except for one. today, june 4th, i went in, got a smoothie, and when i got home and drank a few sips, found it carbonated and fermented. apparently it expired three days ago on the first and it was still on the shelf. this is the fourth time in the last two or three months we have had this happen, thankfully without consumption, until today. we’ve decided to go elsewhere not for convenience, not for quality, but for our literal safety.
