Hidden gem. I’ve lived here over a quarter century and never knew this place existed - fantastic selection of spices, mixes, loose leaf herbs and teas and Davide is super helpful and enthusiastic. My new go-to for the aforementioned goods.
Been buying Spices & Teas at SF Herb Co for a few years. They have great quality & great prices. Let me suggest a new Spice Blend that you might start carrying: BERBERE Now that Marcus Samuelsson has become such a well known chef, this Spice Mix could become a big seller.
I absolutely loved this place, very friendly atmosphere. What I loved most is if they didn't have the item out they would check in the back to see if they had it. All of my herbs and spices were fresh!!

Best herb store in the city. Has just about everything in the way of herbs, spices, and essential oils. Staff is knowledgeable, and always knows what I am talking about. Often times, he makes suggestions which are helpful. The prices are more than reasonable. Only herb store I will shop at in the City.
Can't buy spices anywhere else now. Such a good selection. It improved my home cooking. Highly recommended if all you know are the expensive and stale grocery store spices.
