Best catnip in the world. Saw something like 80000 pounds of it in his warehouse — but oddly enough there weren’t any cats around. Incredible place. A real throwback and San Francisco treasure.
We are a wild hedgehog rescue charity in Jersey British Channel Islands but we always order our catnip from SF Herbs, even with the cost of shipping the price is still half of what we would pay if we ordered from Europe. The service is always prompt and very friendly, I had to ask them to stop phoning me to tell me the shipping costs because they were worried that the price would be too high. Our catnip knitted hedgehogs are our main fundraiser which pays for the food and medicines for hedgehogs in our care.

Hidden gem. I’ve lived here over a quarter century and never knew this place existed - fantastic selection of spices, mixes, loose leaf herbs and teas and Davide is super helpful and enthusiastic. My new go-to for the aforementioned goods.
Been buying Spices & Teas at SF Herb Co for a few years. They have great quality & great prices. Let me suggest a new Spice Blend that you might start carrying: BERBERE Now that Marcus Samuelsson has become such a well known chef, this Spice Mix could become a big seller.
I absolutely loved this place, very friendly atmosphere. What I loved most is if they didn't have the item out they would check in the back to see if they had it. All of my herbs and spices were fresh!!
