Such a friendly , relaxed yet informative environment and overall experience not only pertaining to the herbs and the prices, including amazingly discounted yet useful sale section but also quite communicative as to the typical uses and transactions of the wholesale quantity as well as advice on the safety/dosages for ingesting through smoke, or seeping/steaming into a brew whether topical or ingested (some of which were listed on the bag, which seem to be packaged in store). I have been buying from San Francisco Herb Company for several years, I have always been pleased with the products, prices and service. My only small quibble has been with the essential oils.

They are simply the best in the business. Without the quality ingrediance that we get from sfherb on a regular basis, we would never have gotten the awards we did. You would do well to comparison shop here versus nearby Rainbow, especially if you are looking for hibiscus tea (they have 2 varieties), rooibos (they have red, white and honeybush). FYI, the aromatic smell is from the guys with shopping carts hanging out between here and Armory Club, just so you don't expect THAT KIND of bulk herb here...
Been there over 40 years, incredible selection and knowledge about teas and herbs amazing prices. Need to buy in bulk so good to share if you can.
