By far the grossest Shake Shake I have ever been too. About 15 employees working at once and the dining area was disgusting with trash on the floor and majority tables. It also Doesn’t help there is a major issue with homeless people that stay in the dining area begging patrons. I came during off peak day and time there shouldn’t be any excuse the restaurant was dirty with the amount of people working and little customers dining. Makes me question the food quality if that’s what is visible to customers.
Promo code didn’t register on my order and tried to do it over the phone, was told that they couldn’t apply it on their end. Got surprised with this a few days after Christmas, such nice people. 12/10 experience.
I waited very long for my order, which is fine because there was a large group of children in the store. When I finally got my food, I sat down to eat and there was an unidentifiable piece of food on top of my burger that clearly had mold on it. I brought my food and the debris to the register expecting to speak to a manager. Two different employees approached me and one suggested that it was a piece of fried onion, when it was clearly not. The second employee took the debris from me and walked away without saying anything. After waiting for a few minutes I had to ask what was going on and where the manager was. The manager then approached me and said that my order was being remade, I asked how was I supposed to know when no one said anything to me especially himself as the manager. He was very cavalier and just shrugged his shoulders and said “oh my bad”. After waiting another few minutes I said I would just like a refund because I had to be back to work. I then noticed what looked like my burger in the window, I said I would take it if it was ready. The manager gave me the burger and some new fries which was very nice but the cavalier attitude of himself and his staff makes me never want to go to this Shake Shack location again which is very disappointing because I spent nearly $30. I never received any apology from the manager or an explanation of what was on my food and how it got there which concerns me for the sanitation and cleanliness of this location. Do not eat at Shack Shake on Chestnut St.
I loved the presentation of the food. But the milkshake was a bit much on the sweet side for me. I wish they had an actual spicy sandwich. But the habernao mayo they use is okay as long as its spread along the entire bun because it's not. They have an option for no salt on the fries but it's pointless because the fries definitely come with salt. But omg the cheeseburger with the fried portobello mushroom on it is amazing. The nuggets were okay, at first I thought there were great but after 3 or so I was over them. The seating area is spacious and they had sanitizing wipes and things to clean but I wouldn't say it was that clean.
This Shake Shack was clean and had a great atmosphere. All of the employees were friendly. The mushroom (veggie) burger was so YUMMY! The rest of my family loved their burgers too.
Veggie burger was very good! Service was a little slow but worth the wait.
Put ketchup on everything you'll thank me later. Bought the three cheapest items on the menu and left satisfied for about $17. Not bad in today's economy for a true sit down. meal. Simple down home American eats. Stop by if you have the coin.
Prices are different online than in-store, orders aren’t brought to your table even though the kiosk says they will be, and surfaces are soiled. Private equity at work here
It was ok. They could do better on the prep like lettuce and tomatoes. Tasted ok. But it was a quick grab anyway... but you get what you pay for, right?🤷🏾♀️
Very good. Had the SmokeShack combo. It was pretty quick and deliciously cooked. My only issue was the confusing self checkout machine. Just give me a human.
