Today was the first time I’ve had a shake shack burger in over a decade due to a gluten allergy after practically living at the Madison square park location prior. My fiancé and I learned of the addition of gluten free buns a few weeks ago, so naturally I wanted a burger as my first food after a 14 hour gastric testing fast. The staff were extra careful with our food and super professional about alerting us to cross contamination. Thanks for making my day, team! ♥️ and look at this bun!!!
I've been to a quite a few Shake Shacks in NYC including the original one in Madison Square Park, around D.C., etc. Right away I got the same vibes from the atmosphere. The self service kiosks are convenient to use. The quality of the Shack Burger is exactly as I expected! Sure no 2 ever looks the same and I know this is subjective but they all taste great! I will be back when I'm in the area.
I asked as soon as I arrived if the food sitting behind the counter was mine. Waited a half hour for my food to “come out”. It was the food sitting in a box behind the employees the whole time. Manager was very hostile and confrontational when I asked what they’re going to do to correct this. Refused a refund. Avoid at all costs if you have any respect for your own time.
The burgers were fine, fries were fine, but the chicken bites were a joke. $7 for 6 pieces, but you gotta see these pictures to believe it. Should’ve compared the one to my pinky toe lol.
What's all the hype about? Below average fast food. Period. Try all the other options available to you in this big wide city! Expand your taste palate!
Quick fix ordered a chicken burger, cheese burger and one fry for two. Both burgers were good chicken burger compares to chick-fil-a slightly better. Price was disappointing, left paying $20 for effectively fast food. Overall the burgers were tiny fries tiny will never be back.
Food was good, service was fast, server was efficient. Located in downtown with big glass windows to look out at the city while you dine. Atmosphere was industrial.
WAYYYY TOO PRICEY for a burger WITHOUT fries! BUT, if you’re Looking for an affordable Juicy burger combo worth its quality and size!? Just a short walk across Jefferson Plaza sits Ali’s Smash & Smoothies truck — a welcoming stop where, even in this economy, you can still stretch your dollar over a hearty smash patty and fries. They even make smoothies!!! Bt Hey, Don’t take my word for it, try it yourself & come back to Thank Me Later :-)
Its Shake Shack, so there isn't anything out of the ordinary here. Burgers were good, fries were perfect, the cheese sauce is always satisfying! My only issue was getting a shake. I love that there system can somehow predict how unhealthy I am and no matter what shake I tried to order, it wouldnt allow me to place the order on the system in store. I can order anything else, but when I checked out with a shake, it would error out my order... Yes, I could've just went to the register, but I took this as fate telling me to back off the damn calories…
Slow slow slow oh my lord this place is slow. Waiting 30 minutes for a single chicken sandwich. I wont make the mistake of coming here ever again Update: turns out my food was ready the whole time yet they never called my name. Got to enjoy an ice cold sandwich that was sitting on the counter for god knows how long. Will not be going back.
