⭐☆☆☆☆ Welcome to the “Find the Roast Beef” Challenge! I ordered a footlong roast beef sandwich with extra meat and extra lettuce — apparently Subway interpreted “extra” as “please remove almost everything.” The game began the moment I opened the wrapper: Can you find the roast beef? I searched high and low. I checked under the lettuce (all three tiny shreds of it), inspected every inch of the bread, and even considered calling in a search and rescue team. Somewhere in this footlong, there was supposedly a slice of roast beef… but it must have been hiding for its life. For a sandwich that costs what it does, I expected a meal — not a 12-inch bread inspection with a scavenger hunt theme. The “extra” portions I paid for seemed to have been replaced with “extra disappointment.” Congratulations, Subway, you’ve created the world’s first footlong roast beef mystery puzzle. Next time, maybe include enough meat so customers don’t need a magnifying glass and a detective badge to find it.
The employee behind the counter told me the oven wad broken when it was heated to 213 degrees. When I pointed at the temperature they swiftly hit the power button and put their hand over the temperature. After calling them out they decided to make my sandwich and heat it in the oven that they just told me was broken.
I got a footlong and asked for 2 sides of mayo since I didn’t get condiments on my sandwich. The employee working told me it is about $5 extra for another side of mayo. Is this for real??? If so, this is terrible!! I’d love for the owner to reach out in regards to this. Also, terrible customer service. The young guy working was extremely overwhelmed making 3 sandwiches for pick up.
Difficult to park, street parking only. The service here was absolutely terrible. I went inside and was acknowledged but then the lady behind the counter got on her personal phone and talked about whether or not another gal could work and get paid. This went on for at least 15 minutes, she did get the bread out for the 4 sandwiches I wanted to order, but never proceeded any further. I asked twice how long it would be but she was more concerned about the person on the phone. She finally after at least 15 minutes that it was going to be awhile. I told her I was leaving, and she told me to have a nice day. Wow! Having worked in the service industry for years, I found the whole experience awful. I will never/ever go back to this Subway restaurant. In fact, it'll be a miracle if I or anyone I know will return to ANY Subway restaurant. There are other sandwich shops that value my business. This one certainly did not. Do Not Recommend
The servers could benefit from improving their language skills, as ordering was somewhat difficult due to their strong accents and communicating style. Be prepared that communicating in English can be challenging here, and you may even feel as though you’re being treated as dumb.
This is the most expensive subway i’ve ever been to and they get mad at you for asking extra lettuce and onions. FOR SUBWAY. Such horrible customer service.
The food was really bad and they barely included the veggies I ordered. Horrible customer service as well.
They charge 6.49$ for adding bacon a ham and bacon sandwich with chips is 27$ the owner's are greedy and subway has become so overpriced I will no longer be going to this ever again. This sandwich use to be 18$ thats fair now they bumped it up to almost an extra 10$ if you want to save money and actually get a good meal i would not recommend subway in downtown Seattle anymore.
Your staff is absolutely horrible. I’ve never been to a subway this bad where your employees just refused to work or help out any of the customers they’ve been saying that the toaster is down for weeks when they’re lying they choose customers to toast for I walked in, seen a bunch of customers sitting down with toasted sandwiches when I asked if the sandwich toaster was working, the worker told me no, even though I knew he was lying. I tried to make a cold sandwich he made it all while I was watching him, then tried to toast it with vegetables on it and sauce already on it when I asked him why he would do that, and when he was ever trying to do that, he said he was reading the receipt and I told him to toast it at the end again I asked him when were you ever trained to make a sandwich like that and he ignored me I asked him again if you were gonna toast it anyway why tell me the toaster doesn’t work. I only picked that sandwich Because he said the toaster doesn’t work then he continue to ignore me. This type of behavior is unacceptable from workers that are supposed to be handling our food if I didn’t come in to watch him make my sandwich you would’ve toasted it with all the sauce and vegetable on it and then served it to me. Who does this you need to have some kind of accountability for your employees I’m expecting a call.
Order a foot long chicken bacon ranch for a late night pick up. Mustachio Subway clerk wouldn’t let anyone in the store. No refund. No explanation. The food has always been particularly terrible at this location. The Madison location is open 24 hours and is a much better establishment.
