Tailored In White - DEN🪡

I had my wedding dress altered here and I am very impressed with the work done by Tailored in White! Their method of doing micro fittings worked very well for me especially since I am pregnant and my body is changing slightly throughout the weeks. They do quality work, asked what I thought each step of the way, and even made a final adjustment to my straps for me when I came to pick up my dress and asked for them to be changed slightly. My dress was two sizes too big when I first brought it in since the dress shop didn't have my size up I was trying to purchase initially being pregnant. Tailored in White made my dress fit like it was made for me, and they were so pleasant and nice along the way. Worth every penny for quality work and people :)

I had a great experience working with Tailored in White! I went in not really knowing what I wanted to do besides take it in and they made a few different recommendations and my dress turned out even better than I had imagined. I also used the delivery service the day of my wedding and couldn't recommend it enough. Madilyn Marshall showed up with my dress all cleaned up and ironed and I didn't have to worry about a thing. Thank you to all the girls at Tailored in Whtie that helped me along the way!!

Tailored In White was recommended to me by the bridal shop I bought my wedding dress, and I cannot recommend Tailored in White enough. I had the absolute pleasure of working with Melissa and Catherine, and the alterations they completed made me love my dress that much more! Tailored In White also cleaned and preserved my gown! Cannot recommend enough!

Like previous reviews, most of the people at Tailored in White are very kind. However, I had a bad experience with their tailoring. My straps needed to be adjusted and the girl who was helping me started to pin them into my dress. The manager came over and told me I could have them sculpted to my back. Sounds great. Unfortunately when I went back, they created a seam in the middle of my see-through strap. It was VERY obvious and the sewing itself did not seem well done. I gave them another chance to fix it but when I went back it looked the same. In addition to that, they had not even hemmed my dress after having it another month. Tailored in White was referred to me by the place I bought my dress and I liked the idea of the micro-adjustments. However, this just means you will have to go back there many many times. My coworker was going to Tailored at White the same time as me and she had a good experience so I know not every experience is like mine.

My experience with TIW was exceptional. Their manager, Ally, is very transparent upfront on what to expect and it’s all written out in the contract - multiple appointments where they make incremental changes over the span of each appointment etc. This is very clearly stated as a part of their offering, which I loved. I had two bridal gowns altered with one being a significant alteration. For both dresses the pricing was done upfront and each and every alteration broken down and explained before moving forward, so I knew exactly what was covered. Despite the bodice needing multiple changes, they worked on it until it was perfect. I worked primarily with Melissa and she went above and beyond to get my dress where it needed to be for my day. She has many, many years of experience and I am so glad because she truly helped transform my dress. Not once were they not prepared for my appointment, each promised alteration was always done on time and every appointment ran to time. At the end of each appt they talk you through what is next and make sure that works for you, and they write it out for you to make sure you’re on the same page as each other. Over the span of about 8 appointments (for two dresses) I got to know the entire TIW team and they were all super friendly and professional. They made the experience really great. I highly recommend TIW if you’re looking for experienced alterationists who will pay very close attention to the detail and ensures you’re happy along the way.

I had an amazing experience working with Tailored in White! After my original wedding dress was unfortunately ruined by another alterations team, they truly came to the rescue. Their communication was exceptional, and they were an absolute pleasure to work with throughout the process. They not only restored my confidence but made the entire experience stress-free and enjoyable. I can’t recommend them enough for their professionalism and care!

I can’t say enough positive things about the staff at TIW! Everyone here, especially Michael and Allie, are so dedicated to making their clients look and feel their best. They put their heart and soul into everything they do! I walked into TIW and immediately felt home. I couldn’t have asked for a better place to get my dress altered!

Unfortunately, my experience with Tailored in White was disappointing. Throughout the process, there was a noticeable lack of communication, which led to several errors with my dress. The pricing is very expensive, and it often felt like they were trying to add on additional services at every step, which was frustrating during an already costly process. By the time my alterations were complete and I arrived for pickup, I was very sad to find tearing in the fabric. Also, the appointment before I picked up my dress, I showed the seamstress how the scaloping on the hem should be and she sewed it on backwards, and put cuts in the fabric making that error irreversible. So at the pick-up appointment, the dress did not look how I bought it and I was heartbroken. It also appeared that the seamstress had not handled the dress with the level of care I expected for something so special and delicate. Given the cost and the importance of a wedding gown, I had hoped for far more professionalism, communication, and attention to detail. Sadly, I cannot recommend them based on my experience.

Tailored in White was amazing!!! They took such great care of me and made me feel comfortable and heard from day one. I had some pretty complicated alterations, including adding sleeves, and a quick turn around time. They were always kind and listened to what I wanted, finding ways to make it work without changing the dress! They are magical wedding dress angels!!! Highly recommend!!!
