My friend and I saw Ever After today. What a fabulous show. It has been a number of years since going to that theatre. Wow has it grown!
I took my sister to see DreamGirls at The Phoenix Theater Company & the performances were amazing! Also, there is not one bad seat in the theater. I can't wait to see other shows at this venue!
The sound system was good. The area is not huge so at least I don't feel like in a nose bleed seating. Watched Fiddler on the Roof and the performance was great.
The staff was kind, knowledgeable, and helpful. Parking was free and easy which is always a bonus. The performance was more than 5 stars. They did an amazing job casting for this. I'm glad they are updating the chairs because they are very small. After awhile it became uncomfortable to sit. The bartender was not the best and mixed my drink wrong. If not for that I'd give it 5 stars. In the end, great overall experience therefore the ticket prices were worth every penny. Since they are in the process of updating I wish when selecting your seat it would show you what your view looks like from the seat selected.
I went to see a Christmas carol with my friend Cassie from Tennessee and my partner(soon to be my Hubby) who took me to Molina's in Scottsdale recently to get a couple of rings, Eric Kubiak, who also made it possible for us to get plaques put on the seats in row C seats 18, 19 and 20, anyway the show was undoubtedly magnificent, we have been going to the Phoenix theater for years and will continue to go for many, many more, because as far as I am concerned, the Phoenix theater company is another wonderful gift to us as an addition to our ever growing and loving family. Kudos to all of you who work so hard to make us laugh and cry and want for more Everytime we come to see the show. Thomas Morton
We try to catch as many showings here as possible and just saw Churchill. It's a great theater with great performances and actors. Fairly well priced tickets with the occasional promotions as well. They also have cheap tickets for artists and students.
We saw the Million Dollar Quartet show which was fabulous! Getting into the show was easy and expedited by great volunteers who knew the floor layout. Everyone was very friendly and genuinely excited about the shows. The only downside is the parking. We arrived 45 minutes early and ran into a parking nightmare. There didnt seem to be any organized method of finding a parking spot or whether there were any spots left. After working our way back out of the area we were able to find street parking a few blocks away. Not marking down the score for the parking.
We were lucky enough to catch "Million Dollar Quartet" at the Phoenix Theater in a smallish setting. It made for an intimate feel in the fabulous wonderful musical play. First time visitors for us, but easy to find, plenty of parking, easy access to the very efficient box office, and really helpful and friendly staff in the facility.
Very good professional performance. Very entertaining. The show carried itself on the music and needed little more. Theater itself is showing a bit of age, but I really don't think there is a bad seat anywhere and it gives an intimate experience. I was impressed by how much gray hair there was in the audience. (Maybe that's a feature of all theater these days.) Our preteen granddaughters loved it, though. Easy to recommend in almost all categories.
Absolutely love this place. 3 different theaters with top notch shows. Really enjoyed Daddy Long Legs last weekend which we saw because they sent us discounted tickets from when we saw Come From Away. Have not tried the restaurant but full bar with themed drinks is always fun.
