We went to see A Christmas Carol, It was wonderful, the cast was fantastic! Set design and changing between the sets was well choreographed. I definitely recommend seeing it - Outstanding singing and performance done by all.
We just saw Ever After. The production was phenomenal. All the actor / singers were stellar, top notch performers. The staging, the lighting, the sets, the music and the acoustics were high quality. This theater is truly a jewel in the Phoenix cultural arena. What was even more impressive is we were in the last row of the theater, and we had no difficulty seeing or hearing the production. Seating was comfortable. I've been impressed with past performances, but this was a premier experience. Well done, Phoenix Little Theater.
We love coming to the Phoenix Theater Company! They have the best musicals! We always reserve a table at the restaurant a few hours before our show and enjoy our dinners and drinks there. Always impressed with the staff and excellent shows!
My neighbor gifted our family with four tickets to the Phoenix Theater to see Miracle on 34th St. in the days after Christmas. It was a lovely family outing to end the holiday season. The show was wonderful, but being that is not running anymore, this review is for the theater. Per their website, "The Phoenix Theatre Company, originally founded as the Phoenix Players in 1920, is the oldest arts organizations in Arizona and remains one of the oldest operating arts organizations in the country." It has gone through extensive updates over the years, and they are currently almost done raising 20 million to fund a new theater addition. After you walk through the Steven Spielberg entrance (this is where he debuted his first film), you enter a beautiful green garden that is shared with the Phoenix Art Museum next door. Their ArtBar+Bistro opens two hours before showtime. The menu offers apps, salads, burgers, sandwiches, and dessert. As you enter your theater, there is a small beverage bar as well to grab a drink on the way in and at intermission. This is a beautiful theatre company. The actors, of all ages, were wonderful. The theater ushers were kind and really seemed to love their job and the actors. I'm excited to return for another production someday.
I really wish I had the chance to go to The Phoenix Theatre Company. It’s conveniently located right next door to the Phoenix Art Museum, so if you’re planning a visit, make sure to set aside time for it as well. Just walking by, it already felt like it would be a fabulous experience. The entrance itself immediately caught my attention—it’s called the Steven Spielberg Entrance, which alone gives the place such a special and exciting feel. It looks like a wonderful space to enjoy a meaningful and memorable performance, and it’s definitely on my list for the next visit.
This is really great theater. We went to see a show and ended up in the main Phoenix Theater which was absolutely beautiful and Acoustics were really great. The group doing the play was exceptional and had beautiful voices
Our first time at this venue. We saw Ever After, taking our daughter for her 14th birthday, her first time seeing live theater. Everything was excellent. One of the best performances I've seen and I've been going to the theater for over 60 years! We already got tickets to Les Mis!
What a fantastic venue! Great seats, helpful staff and the cast put on a wonderful performance. The seats are roomy enough and comfortable, and the entry points are well set up so you never have too long a trip to your seats.
We went and saw Les Mis. It was fantastic. The theater was very clean, great acoustics and the stadium seating allows for great seats everywhere. Not out first visit and won't be out last.
It's a very busy venue. The aisles are tight and the seats seem mediocre but are quite adequate; I didn't get the typical back or butt ache. There's probably no bad seat, it's just a bit snug, and most all seats are full. The drinks are way overpriced and the bars seem short-staffed. Parking seems adequate (and free!) but I got completely lucky and got a primo spot as I drove in. Overall, really good venue with excellent performances.
