Quoted me in under a minute... didnt ask me my name, personal info etc which I hate when people do that. They asked me all they needed to know, gave me a fast quote and i enjoyed speaking to them. Then all they did was ask my email so they could SEND me a link to fill out full details... thank you! This is how it should be done. I will be using them to ship my car. Other places ask you all your info before even telling you cost ugg.. then they sell your info and you get blown up by text. This company is AWESOME for honest fast quotes. I was so sick of talking to other people about quotes so when I called Thrifty Auto Shipping... breath of fresh air!
Absolutely phenomenal service. I had the pleasure of working with Dwight from TAS company and he went above and beyond in providing an excellent and outstanding service. I have moved from Dallas to New York, and due to logistical reasons I had to move my car at a very specific date. He was able to help me through the whole process by handling the logistics of shipping the car for me, making my life much easier. I highly recommend using TAS company as your moving service. Given the opportunity, I would definitely use them again. I've never met a more professional car moving company than TAS and I've moved plenty of times. Highly recommended.
I shipped quite a few vehicles before and Thrifty tops the list as the worst experience period. Zero communication. Weeks went by with zero contact/updates as to status of vehicle. Emails not returned. Promises of return phone calls with updates that never happened. Why bother? Your response below would have merit if you actually attempted to notify me of any impending delays last week. You did not. In fact you did not notify me at all. Period. Until I called Friday and was told, twice mind you, I would be called back with an update. Weather is not the issue as of this weekend.

Dwight was amazing and Thrify SAVED me from a nightmare situation! To make a long story short, I originally shipped my ‘65 T-Bird with another company. Along the way the driver shifted cars around, damaged the car and abandoned it 4 hrs into the drive from Louisiana to Oregon. Waited for a new driver for 4 weeks without luck when I finally found Thrifty. Dwight was so patient and listened to my desperate situations. He suggested I break up the trips into two in order to get everything moving. Within days of speaking with Dwight, I had a driver and the car was finally on its way again. Do yourself a favor and go with Thrify THE FIRST TIME! This group knows what they’re doing. Thank you!

First time shipping a car, I was a little hesitant but these reviews don't lie. They kept us informed and had a very professional driver take our car. It was a smooth transition and made our move much easier. I would use them again and recommend them highly!
HORRIBLE! experience, my vehicle was damaged during shipping, Thrifty had subcontracted the transport to another company, Carolina Logistics, after 6 months ,17 emails and 12 phone calls I was told by the "senior dispatcher" at Thrifty that he was going to "hang up on me" if I expressed any further dissatisfaction with their company and that it was my responsibility to pursue my claim with the company they had used to transport my vehicle even though my contract was with Thrifty and they are who I paid. My vehicle sustained $2300 in damage and was also looted by the driver during shipping, they will assume no responsibility. Use at your own risk, there are many other carriers out there who are more reputable. WOW, sir I think you are confusing me with someone else. My contract # is 25272-LI. My drivers name was Larry not John. I was in Germany when the vehicle was picked up and delivered so you certainly do not have signed documentation from me. I have called your office numerous times but have never been rude. There is no documentation or bill of lading (the big problem) it was never presented by the driver at pick up or delivery. I understand that things can occasionally happen during these transactions. It is the total disregard and lack of responsibility by your company in the aftermath that I have the issue with. and its Mr Richardson not Ms Rich
