Had a unfortunate experience with Tilit… placed an order for 2 pairs of pants and never heard back from the brand. They never sent any updates or a tracking number but they did take my money lol. When I tried to follow up they told me it was delivered and there was nothing they could do for me. I spent over a hundred dollars on pants I’ll never get lol
***Updating my review because they did make it right and allow me to return my items for a refund. Thanks! Customer service sucks and the fine print is non existent. Spent $150 on shirts that don't fit and are of questionable quality and durability. I emailed about a refund 10 minutes after receiving my order and explained that it wasn't stated anywhere on the listing that these were a final sale, non-refundable item. They offered me store credit for clothing they don't make in my size and then ghosted me when I asked for a refund for that reason. If you're a chef, your money is HARD earned. I'd spend it elsewhere. Huge thumbs down for Tilit.
I ordered an apron from these folks & am very happy with the results. The item looks great and performs well. I made a mistake in my initial order, and customer service was quite accommodating and got it all sorted out. Would recommend.
ordered a few items for a relative for CHRISTMAS a month or so back just to be told today 12/21 that it won't be shipped until January 8th and only offered a measly discount on ONE item. on a future purchase which will never happen. loved how in the email they put "without delay"
So happy I found Tilit Chef Goods when I did, but actually think their goods found me. My Tilit products are always of the highest craftsmanship, super comfortable and truly unique. Waiting to see what they will come with next- thank you Tilit Chef Goods!
These guys were kind of hard to find, but a sweet little gem of workwear. The staff can whip up whatever size you like, they're really good. Got all the sewing machines and that good stuff. They also had a nice rack of sample work wear. If you're looking for work uniform this is your place, equally good looking clothes for use after work.
I love Tilit! I own 3 of their aprons and a couple chef coats. Great quality with great style, my favorite is the Contra apron, I own 2! If they were here in San Francisco I'd end up buying way too much, but luckily their shipping is super fast. Best, Melissa Pastry chef, Chez TJ
Visited today to help my husband shop for a couple of chef coats. We were both very impressed with the design, fabric and style of the items we looked at. A special shout-out to Isaiah for a) having patience with me, and 2) helping with last-minute customization of the coats. This store rocks!
To date, I have owned seven Tilit aprons, pants, countless chef shirts, and the backpack. Every single item has been better than the last. Shirts fit like they should, pants are able to withstand the rough environment of the kitchen, the Contra aprons have protected me from spills, and the backpack is a constant source of envy amongst my staff. If you're looking for a company that can provide you and your restaurant with comfortable, lightweight, and durable chefwear, look no further than Tilit.
