Edgar & Chris were incredible representatives of Velocity Home Solutions! They were were able to answer all of my questions, stayed in contact with me during the installation and, after 5 weeks of enjoying my solar, still respond to my questions. The app is awesome….like having a new game on my phone! I could even see when my dryer began to pull more energy. This can be a real help in determining your energy usage. Frank installed my solar panels I couldn’t have asked for a better job !!! I was a little skeptical about going solar but then when I met with Frank my mind came to ease. He did exactly what he said he would and my electric bill reduced significantly. Highly recommended frank and his company.

Long delay by Velocity to put thru paperwork causing me to pay both normal utility bill and payment for system. Was told the money for the first payment would be sent back to me, but it never came. I still pay around 60 dollars a month to utility company on top of my system payment. I have received nothing but false promises from numerous people in this company. From salesman, his manager, and the owner of this company. I would not recommend this company to anyone. *** Update one inverter stopped working around October 30th. The Enphase app was the only reason why I knew this occurred. (Salesman advised if something was wrong with the system they would contact me to fix it, and that it was a full monitoring service. Obviously also not true.) I called Enphase to find out why the panel was not showing power making. Enphase found after running a scan on the system that the panel inverter was not working correctly. Enphase was not able to fix it via networking, so they contacted Velocity to advise for the need of service. Velocity energy responded out and advised a new inverter was needed. The inverter was shipped directly to my address. The package had a contact number for the person working on my site. Not using his name on this post. I called numerous times with no answer and the message service for his number was full. I finally got thru after numerous attempts and advised the part arrived. Was told the office was closed and that he would let them know so they could schedule the next week. This was at the end of November. As of yesterday I finally was able to get the contact person on the package out to install the micoinverter. However, the panel is still not working. Was on the phone again with Enphase who attempted another scan to get the serial number for the new inverter so it would communication with the system. Apparently this is the job of the installers. Again I now have to wait until Velocity does the job they are supposed to do to have the system working at 100 percent again. Less than a full year into my system being installed and it's been nothing but a headache. If I could give the mirrored responce in my paying for the system I am sure they would have issue with the relationship as well. They got their money and don't really seem to care about the follow thru.****

Edgar did an amazing job explaining all facets of the system. He is very knowledgeable and answered all our questions. He followed up with us before and after install. The installation team did outstanding work. Rudy explained how the app worked and the system was up and running in about 4.5 hours. I highly recommend Velocity Energy and Home Solutions.

Had a really uncomfortable experience today with someone going door-to-door. A guy named Keyon knocked, but I didn’t hear it at first just my dogs going crazy. When I checked my camera, he was sitting on my planter outside my house. I went out to see what was going on, and he said he was hot and had been outside all day and just needed a break. I kept it polite and told him to email me whatever he was trying to pitch since he clearly already had my information. I go back inside… 5–10 minutes later, my dogs are losing it again. I check the camera now he’s literally rolling around on the ground and in my mulch. At that point, I went back out and told him he needed to leave. He kept saying “give me a minute,” but I had already given him more than enough time. I made it very clear: you’re making me uncomfortable on my own property, leave. He still pushed back, I told him to leave again or I’d call the police. He said he wasn’t worried about me calling the cops, which tells me everything I need to know about the level of respect here. No professionalism, no awareness, no boundaries. If this is who you have representing your company, that’s a serious problem. However you got my information delete it and don’t come back.

Joe Alam my rep, was upfront about every step—permitting, timelines, and what was needed. I got a new roof, a breaker box, and the required emergency disconnect. The whole install was done in about two and a half months. Joe handled any issues that came up. Overall, he made the whole process smooth, and I’m happy with the outcome.

Even though I didn’t qualify for solar, I’m really glad Joe came by. He took the time to explain everything clearly, especially how PSE&G’s net metering works and what the entire solar process looks like. Unfortunately, my roof didn’t have enough space for the number of panels needed, but Joe was honest and upfront about it. He also explained that PSE&G makes the final decision on system approval—not the solar company. I really appreciated how patient, knowledgeable, and thorough he was. Even though I couldn’t move forward, I walked away understanding solar much better.

Mark was very thorough and diligent during the whole Solar process. He really made the experience feel stress free and helped incorporate a roof replacement along with the install of the panels. Overall it was an excellent experience and would highly recommend.

Had the team out to install a new roof and solar panels. The roofing guys are top notch cleaned everything up great crew . The solar panels guys did a wonderful job on my roof very polite and left the yard and area around very clean and both crews were on time very rare to find that these days I would recommend them to anyone getting solar
