Amazing food and huge patio space! Great service! Michele was a great server and Gage was awesome at making the teal slide tackle drink!
As a queer person, bbq places can be a tense roll of the dice as to weather or not we will be welcome and feel comfortable. I can tell you that my husband and I felt so welcomed and safe by Christy and Cherie! The food was the best bbq I have had in kc in a long time. We had the ribs, turkey, brisket and pork belly burnt ends along with a selection of their amazing sides. Not a single thing was a miss. I cannot wait to come back with friends and enjoy some delicious beverages, great food and amazing vibes.
I travel all over the country for work, and my first meal in said town is always local bbq. So of course, when in KC, I set out on a solo bbq tasting tour of my own. Had 4 stops to try on my list. First stop was Jazzy Bs in Lees summit, second was Q39 third was Wolfpack, then pigwitch. Let’s just say I never made it to pigwitch, because it was never going to be better than Wolfpack. Ordered brisket, burnt ends and pork belly. As soon as it hit the table and I saw it, I already knew this was the holy grail of smoked meat. When I tasted it, OMG, it melted like butter, and the bark was beautiful! You guys have something special here. And to the pit master that creates these masterpieces, keep doing what you are doing! You are pulling off what the rest of the bbq country only dreams of doing! I’ll be back before I leave town! Cheers!
This is some of the better barbecue I've had in KC, and the building, atmosphere and service are very good. My only gripe, and it's a very minor one, is about the name of the place. Is it Wolfepack as it shows on their sign outside? Or is it Wolfpack as it shows for Google Maps and their website? I don't know or knowe.
Best BBQ in KC for real! Try the fried pickles and the garlic cheese curds! The brisket is amazing, the pulled pork has the perfect seasoning, and the baked Mac n cheese will make your Aunt Ava think they high jacked her recipe! 10/10 Andrew made our experience fabulous!
One of the best if not the best barbecue place in Kansas City. Nobody has better burnt ends or brisket within 100 miles. If you want a life-changing experience get the brisket burger two ways you will not be disappointed. I would also highly recommend the wings, maybe pricey, but well worth it. Get them naked first, add sauce if you think they need it. They even put in a nice spin on their french fries. Their loaded fries could be a meal on their own. Burnt ends not available every day, but if you come on a day when they’re not, brisket and pulled, pork will still rock your world.
This was my first time there and I was blown away by how good the brisket, burnt ends and in particular the queso on the loaded fries. Great selection of drinks, cool aesthetic, fantastic service. Don’t miss the chance to drop in. I’m glad I did. Well we went back again the next night I brought 6 colleagues with me and everyone was blown away. Queso was ordered and everyone raved about it. Ribs were great I tried the sausage tonight and let me tell you. Don’t sleep on the sausage it’s fantastic. Good selection of non alcoholic beers as well. Thursday-Sunday are apparently when the beef burnt ends are on the menu so might have to make it 3 days in a row. Ok it happens again and I brought another friend who confined that this is some of the best BBQ in KC. Special shout out to Nat for great chat and fantastic service over my 3 visits. When I’m back in town I know where I’ll be dropping by to visit!!
My son and I stopped in here after flying in. We weren’t starving but were hungry and eager for some BBQ. Greeted by Nicole behind the bar we sat down and were immediately struck by the cool decor and good vibes. We ordered a two meat plate getting the brisket and pulled pork. For our sides we got the mac & cheese and cornbread. It came out quick and was all amazing. For dessert we got the s’mores brownie sundae and it was out of this world. Everything about our bust was great.
We had a very nice experience at this restaurant. Our server was a very friendly young lady, and we would like to thank her separately for the great service. The food was very tasty, and the meat was absolutely amazing. The smell and flavor were truly impressive. The atmosphere and presentation were also very good. The only small thing we noticed was the taste of the complimentary tap water. It seemed to have a slight chlorine taste, which was a bit distracting from the flavor of the meat. However, maybe we are just a little sensitive to it. The lunch for three people came out to about $90. In our opinion, it felt a little expensive, but it was worth it overall. We enjoyed our visit and would recommend this place.
Service was good l! But as for the food, it was ok for all the hype. I was recommended this place. With them saying that “It’s an underrated bbq spot.”Portions are small for the price- (please see photos with the one meat dinner that has burnt ends slaw and onion rings) and then a 2 meat dinner with ribs)we would gladly pay good money if the portions were worth it) With that being said, the beans were undercooked (hard with sauce and meat. As for the ribs….the ribs did not fall of the bone they were not tender or juicy, just meh….not something we would go back for. The Mac n cheese with pulled pork was just ok. (Just mush with meat)add some bbq sauce to make it better.) we also had tried the burnt ends! Now the burnt ends alone could give them a solid 4stars however, the bad out weighed the good unfortunately. We would like to try the sandwiches and other items in the future and I will update the review accordingly. We want to give this place another shot. Hopefully the burgers do not disappoint! We have high hopes!
