Ok, I really like this place but I would just change like 2 things. This place always has GREAT meats, easily some of the best. Their sides are good. I had a burger on my last visit, and it was a tasty smash burger... But idk. The meats are really where it's at. I want the menu to highlight them more, because I always forget until the food arrives honestly. Either more deal options or better descriptions. You guys are underplaying what you do best imo. Really lacking on allergan friendly options. My GF partner has had salad the 2 times we went together. It was a good salad, but variety would be nice... Service is largely good but it can be slightly hit or miss. Best service of my 3 visits was my last. Waitress was very sweet. Sometimes we don't get checked on much at all though. The atmosphere is ok but somehow always a little over stimulating, especially for a weekend late lunch/early dinner. I always end up by the window, may try a new spot next time. Overall it's a solid spot. Would love more options on the menu though.

It was our first time here and needless to say, we will definitely be back! Their BBQ was so fresh and melt in the mouth. The chicken wings were rather dry and so were the briskets but very tender nonetheless. The loaded fries were my absolute favorite thing there that we tried that day. Portion was small for the price but that’s everything nowadays. The coleslaw was flavorless and so was the corn salad. We were quite disappointed with that. Ribs were very juicy and fall-off-the-bone. Deliciously seasoned and perfectly cooked. The burger I got was nothing special as it tasted like every other burger I’ve had from any other sit down restaurant. Still good though. All in all, I would definitely come back again. Prices were steep compared to other places I’ve been to but the waitress was super kind to us. Parking was plentiful and thank goodness we didn’t have to park on the side. Seating quantity is a bit small but that’s not bad. We went on a Sunday at 11:30AM. No line, not many people eating quite yet. On each table are condiments and a roll of paper towel! I will say I went through 7-8 sheets of paper towel. Maybe look into wet wipes or something, although bathrooms are also an option! I’d come again for a celebration or something special. As for casual, everyday BBQ, I think I’d go someplace else. Food: 4.2/5 Service: 4.7/5 Atmosphere: 4.3/5 Parking: 5/5 Cleanliness: 4.3/5 Seating: 4/5

OMG unbelievably good BBQ! I knew we were in the right place after crossing three sets of railroad tracks, abandoned lots, and a graffitied skate park. You can smell the bbq cooking from outside. Amazing burnt ends and brisket, and the corn muffins are insanely good.

Currently pregnant and my pregnancy craving has been burnt ends. My husband and I have been all over the city ordering them. Had a dr appointment today and googled the closest bbq place to us and ended up here. HANDS DOWN BEST BBQ we’ve had BY FAR. When I said that to the bartender, Gage, he went and got the bracket off the wall to show us they just literally won #1 best in KC! Will definitely become regulars because of the food and will sit at the bar because of Gage!

You gotta try this place. Coming from Pennsylvania, we have decent BBQ but damn, this was the best pulled pork I've had. The pork is super tender, almost doesn't even need sauce with it. Perfect seasoning and smokiness. They even char both sides of the pork so there's a bit of crisp there. The waiter was also very nice, got me some spicy BBQ sauce. The Mac and cheese is also very good, you can tell it's not generic. Would recommend to anyone that wants BBQ 🤤 I wish we had this in PA.

Everything is a 5 STARS!!! First of all my server Ashley was the kindest soul! She complimented me on my manners and it made my entire evening! She was always checking on whether we needed any sauce or drinks and even came after I was done eating to simply just hear my thoughts about the food, not many times in my life have I had such a kind server who really loves what they do! Now onto the food, I wanted a little bit of everything since it was my first time here so I ordered a three meat platter with brisket, brisket burnt ends, and ribs, and along with that I got two sides one of Mac n cheese and then the cowboy beans. I also ordered 1/4lb of Jalepeno Sausage, 1/4 of Turkey, and a 1/4lb of pork burnt ends! And oh my days was everything delicious! I’m from Southwest kansas but live in Lawrence for University and I’ve always wanted some bbq closer to Texas Style since that’s what I’ve grown up with and that’s what I personally cook at home, and Wolfpack hit the spot. The brisket was perfectly cooked and so tender it would melt in the mouth and it had the perfect amount of salt. The turkey was not dry at all and is probably the best turkey I’ve had! The burnt ends were melt in your mouth! And the pork burnt ends dare I say were even better😭😂! Idk but i loved everything about this place i will def be back!

To all my friends and family and work family you all know me and my wife consider ourselves foodies, we love finding new places to eat, and this BBQ joint we found is amazing, and let me tell you it has it all, great food, awesome service, and great historic atmosphere. Our server Joseph was the best all 4 times we have been here, he gave us great suggestions and explained a lot about the restaurant, basically took the time to give us a history tour. And this last time I had the pleasure to meet the owner Kevin, he took time to thank me and the family for coming in and explained a lot, asked what our favorite menu items were and told us about the his restaurant and just related to us and he even put me in a order for a wolf pack hoodie and shirt, and I’m a huge Chiefs fan and I love they’re logo, I will post a picture of it below. So please go and see Kevin and Joseph and all the staff, it is located in a cool neighborhood down near city market, you will not be disappointed, the side of corn bread, I won’t even try the name but it’s flavored amazing, the ribs are fall off the bone and the sliced brisket is amazing, I will have to come back in to try the beef burnt ends, they serve them Thursday Friday and Saturday only, we normally come in Wednesdays, so we will ha to try to come in Thursday next time. They are mostly word of mouth so please try it and share your experience and spread the word, me and Crystal Trillo are stopping going to the well known and over priced Bbq joints here in Kansas City, this is our new and better Bbq joint and the prices are good too. Give them a try you won’t regret it.To all my friends and family and work family you all know me and my wife consider ourselves foodies, we love finding new places to eat, and this BBQ joint we found is amazing, and let me tell you it has it all, great food, awesome service, and great historic atmosphere. Columbus Park feels like the kind of place Kansas City doesn’t show off enough—old brick, a little grit, history in the bones. You don’t end up here by accident. You come looking for something. Wolfpack BBQ & Burgers fits right into that. Not legacy. Not trying to be. Just trying to earn it. The Brisket “2 Ways” burger shows up like it’s got something to prove—two brisket patties, chopped brisket, onion ring, cheese, sauce running just enough to make it messy. Juicy, tender, unapologetic. The Alabama white brings a tangy, peppery bite, the house BBQ hits that sweet-and-savory balance. There’s a little chew on the brisket, but not enough to slow you down. Fries come hot and crispy, dusted in BBQ seasoning—like the blood and soul of the place. Smoke, salt, spice. You don’t ignore them. Wings are tight-skinned, not rubbery, actually juicy. Seasoned all the way through. Dip them in that Alabama white—bright, tangy, peppery, a little bite, creamy without feeling heavy. Best version I’ve had in KC. Ribs come out barked up, smoke ring showing. First bite has a little resistance, then it pulls clean off the bone. Right where you want it. Service matters too. Colby was friendly, present, easy—felt less like a transaction, more like being taken care of. They don’t have decades behind them, but they didn’t just show up either. This is a place built through pop-ups, trailers, time behind the smoke. The classics are here—but they push it. Brisket smash burgers, French dips, food that leans a little reckless without losing the foundation. Same fire. Same smoke. Just pointed forward. This feels like what’s next.

We visited for our son’s birthday and had an incredible experience. I ordered the two-meat plate with spare ribs and pork belly burnt ends, paired with onion rings and a salad. The onion rings were a standout—crispy, melt-in-your-mouth coating and onion curds were tender with a perfectly matched dipping sauce. Good adult sized servings. The meats were the real stars; the dry rub was so flavorful that BBQ sauce wasn’t even necessary. However, their house sauce is excellent—balanced and not overly sweet—if you prefer to dip. My son’s brisket was equally tender, and his cornbread muffin was so good we’ve already decided to order our own next time. Our server, Joseph, was wonderful and made us feel genuinely welcome. In a town full of BBQ, this place truly stands out. We’ll definitely be back! Ask about the building. It is a legendary place with history. If you remember LaSalas, you will get the feels reminiscing. Try it!

Some of the best bbq we've had in Kansas City. We got the 3 meat plate with brisket, beef burnt ends and pulled pork, with mac and cheese and the corn suffle muffin as a side. The burnt ends were perfect not too fatty, not overcooked just tasty. The pulled pork was good. The brisket was good with a drizzle of the regular bbq sauce 9n top. The mac was cheesy goodness, not quite the thickness of Velveeta but the creaminess was so good. The corn suffle was good so long as you get more than jalapeno in your bite.
