A&R Solar

A&R Solar provided me with first class service from the beginning to the end of the process of adding a solar system to my house. I cannot praise highly enough the team who initiated my contact, made sure I got the available government rebates, installed the panels and made sure the interface with my utility provider went smoothly, and answered my every question promptly. Absolutely 5 stars!

A&R installed my solar panels 5 years ago. In that time, I have had 1 warranty claim. It was handled quickly and professionally. The customer service is top notch. I highly recommend A&R Solar.

They told me they couldn't help me after calling them and setting up a phone consult --- because my house was too shaded and the roof was too slanted to fit sufficient solar panels to get a decent ROI. The bottom line is they were up front about the fact that I should only proceed with them if I was willing to wait 30 years to see a return of my approximately 25-30k investment. Another company I started to work with was not so up front and tried to sell me on a system despite this major drawback, so I was very thankful that Spencer at A&R Solar was honest and didn't waste my time with a sales pitch that would have amounted to me wasting a lot of time or money (or both). I guess what I'm saying is thanks for helping me by not helping me in the end!😂

We had 24 panels installed by A&R after finally getting our money back from another company who obviously didn't know what they were doing -- In fact, it was the A&R person who gave us a bid who helped us get our money back from the other company after we had waited over 3 months. A&R had the most competitive, most detailed bid. We were referred by a friend who was extremely happy with their work. They asked if they could install our job earlier than the estimated date -- yes please!!! Everyone with this company has been wonderful (they are a B Corp :) They really made me feel like any of my questions/requests were important -- highly professional, punctual, and affordable!

A&R Solar installed two Tesla Powerwalls for me in 2024. They did an excellent job. They were very responsive to all of my questions and performed a very professional installation. I recommend A&R without hesitation.

I had a great experience with A&R Solar. I worked closely with Spencer Drew who did a great job of answering all my questions and making sure everything went smoothly. He and the team at A&R made it possible to get the panels installed ahead of schedule. They communicated very well. The process was great. Over a month later and we are very happy with our panels! Tina Kayser was the project manager for our project and did a spectacular job from start to finish!!

A&R was great! They were reasonably priced, communicated well and had great customer service. The City Inspector and PG&E team were impressed with the quality of the work and materials!

We had more than our fair share of solar sales people knock on our door and most left us feeling confused and uncertain. After speaking to one of those reps I was researching the company online and noticed that A&R Solar had several four and five star ratings, as well as glowing reviews, so we schedule time to meet with them. From the start, Spencer was amazing! I checked off text as my preferred means of contact and he messaged shortly after to confirm my preference and start the conversation. We spent days going back and forth before he offered to come by the house, which was a huge difference from other companies who pressed to meet face to face so they could give their sales pitch. Spencer actually shared his quote in our messaging and suggested meeting simply to answer questions and let us all put a face to a name. Once we signed our contract A&R did and amazing job of helping us navigate financing, adjust to our availability for scheduling, and constantly communicating with status updates. The installation crew was equally as courteous and professional, with Brendan always ensuring we knew what was going on and when. Post install communication and support has also continued to be great, with Tina making sure we’re happy. I’m a fan of A&R and definitely recommend them if you’re thinking about solar!

We found A&R Solar via the Oregon Energy Trust. I would HIGHLY recommend them for your solar needs. A&R's team was quick to reach out, their consultant got to our house within the day, and then did an incredible job. They helped us understand our current situation, the possibility for solar, and what kind of system would make sense for us. The consultant was realistic, went above and beyond what he needed to do, and was very informative. Ultimately we need to wait for solar for now (we need a new roof and to upgrade our electrical box) but I will 100% make A&R the first company I reach out to when the time comes.
