We've had brunch here at least four times this year and it's always been a 10/10. Today, not so much. Avocado toast was literally half the portion it had been previously (one piece of bread cut in half, not 2 slices) and instead of 2 fried eggs, it was one medium boiled egg cut in half. The jacked up fries were not fried, the eggs and cheese sauce were cold. Not room temperature but cold. The third breakfast was done well - eggs Benedict were great. I hope whatever is happening in the kitchen gets corrected.
Lovely spot for dinner. Robust menu for omnivores and vegetarians alike. I was with my sister (veg) and we had a great meal from the apps alone!
Literally what can't this place do? The perfect happy hour spot / post work hang, great for brunch, fancier dinners, casual food, late night cocktails.... truly a Fairmount institution
For a $20 burger, I expect the fries to be delish and not to be refried and unpeeled
Excellent food, great beer, and relaxing atmosphere. And service that went above and beyond. I arrived during their mid-day menu with a craving for something from their regular menu. The host checked with the kitchen and they were able to hook me up. Made my day!

Wonderful experience from the moment we opened the door and stepped in, warm & well lit, just a short wait for a table of 4. Waiter was attentive and super friendly as were all Hygge’s staff. We were visiting from NYC and since 2020 I’ve believed the restaurant industry has bottomed out, not this place. Menu, food, drinks & service 5 ⭐️’s My new favorite Philly Place!
I recently visited a fantastic restaurant and had an amazing meal that I cannot stop raving about. The ambiance of the restaurant was warm and inviting, and the food was absolutely delicious. One dish that stood out to me was the Hygge Burger, made with a perfect blend of house-ground chuck and brisket, topped with creamy Cabot cheddar, fresh bibb lettuce, tangy red onion, and zesty kosher B&B pickles. But the real star of the show was the Hygge sauce, which added a unique and delightful flavor that made this burger truly unforgettable. The brioche bun was perfectly toasted and added a subtle sweetness to the overall taste. We also started our meal with the Crab Fries, which were a delightful treat. The fries were seasoned with Old Bay, perfectly crispy, and came topped with succulent blue crab and tangy pickled peppers. The beer cheese sauce was rich and flavorful, and the dish was finished off with a sprinkle of fresh scallions that added a burst of freshness to each bite. Overall, I cannot recommend this restaurant enough. The quality of the ingredients and the skillful preparation of the dishes truly make for a memorable dining experience. Whether you are in the mood for a delicious burger or something a bit more unique like the Crab Fries, this restaurant has something for everyone. I cannot wait to go back and try more of their delicious offerings!
I just so happened to come by on a random Wednesday night for a solo dinner. The drinks were really good and the food was decent. Not the best I’ve ever had but I just wanted to try something new. Overall, it was a pretty good experience. I would come back for drinks not some much the food.
