Friend and I went for a quick bite and drink since we were nearby. Found seats at the bar where we had excellent, attentive service. We both had delicious Mango Mint Sangrias and shared appetizers. The deviled eggs were infused with smoked trout which brought a pungent saltiness and smokiness that was delicious. Brussel sprouts were cooked perfectly. At the bottom of the bowl was a lot of dressing and I prefer things lightly dressed so I would remember to ask for that another time. The beet and pistachio salad was good and our server was thoughtful enough to split it into two bowls for us. We rounded out apps with the Ricotta toast, creamy, delicious on very good bread with a chewy crust. Highly recommend.
Our favorite restaurant in Fairmount by far! Owner, Stu and General manager, Jackie, are on top of things and can regularly be seen floating around checking in on guests with ease. Great food, service, cocktails & beer! Staff is friendly but professional and efficient. A consistent quality experience time and again.
Yum! Staff were very kind and friendly, from the hosts to the server. Was nice to see the managers helping out too as a former restaurant worker. The drinks were great and the summer corn gnocchi was delicious
We had a fantastic, quick dinner here before a show at the Met. The food was great and the service was super. I want to give a huge shout out to their “zero proof” bar menu— they actually have mocktails that are awesome and delightful to sip. Using Seedlip & Ghia are some of the best NA options on the market and I appreciate it so much. Feels nice for NA mocktails to not be an afterthought.
Just a quick beer - which was good! - but I liked the vibe. Heavy wood bar, dark booths, bistro tables, and a cozy lounge. Nice selection of amari and whiskeys, always nice to see, and a solid selection of local spirits, too.
My husband and I FREQUENT this place and it has never disappointed. I’ve tried just about everything on the menu - from the Hygge boards down to nearly every appetizer and seasonal desserts. The steak is divine. The consistency is always there. Love the AC expressway (cocktail) in the summer and the spiced sangria in the winter Staff is friendly and attentive! Service on point and ambience is spectacular. This place is nearly a weekly go to and I always recommend to friends. (Would recommend a reservation on weekends and on those nicer nights just to ensure you get a table!) 11/10 would recommend.

One of my absolute favorite places! The food is always cooked to perfection and the drinks are so tasty! Aside from an amazing meal, the atmosphere is so warm and inviting and the staff are such fantastic people and very knowledgeable, I often ask for recommendations and they never let me down! I’ve been coming here for years and will continue to do so. Special shout out to the manager Jackie, she’s an absolute gem of a human being, super helpful and dedicated to giving everyone a good experience. I will continue coming to this establishment often. Thank you Bar hygge for a consistently wonderful experience!
Such a lovely gem. This has been a regular spot for us over the past 2-3 years and never disappoints. The food is fantastic, beer selection is vast and varied, and their brunch is on point. We’ve brought many out of town friends who’ve always thoroughly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Love it here and highly recommend it!
