BIC Construction is amazing. I did my due diligence. I sent inquiries to four companies and received bids from 2. When Scott (the owner of BIC) came he was a wealth of information. The company has been around for so long and they only do basements. He asked questions about things I never would have considered. He had his pulse on the real estate market about what would be best for resale. His design was spot on. He's a great listener. Once we chose BIC we met the crew. Sara B. the project manager was incredible. I loved getting a text every morning between 7 and 7:15am telling me who would be showing up and what they would be doing. She came by the job site often and always let me know about the progress, the inspections, and always asked if there were any changes I wanted to make. Chris (Fish) was such a comfort. His construction industry knowledge also helped moving things along. Jerry the electrician was great because he recommended certain lighting changes based on how I would be using the space. I can tell you it has made a world of difference in the finished basement. There wasn't one craftsmen who came through and I met all but 2, who weren't professional, skilled, and personable. Their commitment to excellence was clear and present. I can't think of a better company to entrust should a large project.

We could NOT BE HAPPIER with the end result of our basement remodel through BIC. Every detail is exactly what we had hoped for and matched all of our expectations. The end-to-end process was so seamless and well thought out. We had a general idea of what we wanted in the basement and through Scott’s experience he optimized our space fitting all of our needs into the design. Day-to-day work days were managed by Patrick, who was absolutely fantastic. We’d get DAILY updates on what was going to happen during the day. We was responsive, flexible and just overall incredibly helpful as we navigated through the project. The workmanship, the personnel, the communication and the timeline of our project was second to none. We could not recommend BIC any higher. (Forgive the mess in the pictures. We were eager to start enjoying the basement as quickly as possible. We also need to find some furniture…home projects never end, do they?)

We worked with Scott, Sara, and Chris with BIC construction to make our basement everything we wanted it to be! Overall the experience was great and finished right on time even with a couple of surprises and holidays. The team is extremely honest, fare, and reasonable. They accidentally over quoted on one change order and corrected it after I had already paid. I’d recommend the BIC team to friends looking to have their basement finished.

BIC was fantastic to work with. Scott was great to work with on the designs and his experience helped us maximize the space and went above our expectations. We were really impressed by the whole team. We got daily updates from our project manager Eddie so we always knew what work was being done and who would be there that day. They finished the work on time with no major issues. After the job was completed, we did have a couple minor issues, but that were immediately addressed by BIC. Our basement was finished in July 2022 and we absolutely love it. Would absolutely recommend BIC.

We are particular and very detail oriented, and BIC Construction met all of our expectations! We recently hired BIC Construction to finish our basement, which included adding a bedroom, bathroom with shower, a large family room/entertainment space, and a bonus room. The added 1070 sq. ft. of finished space was completed professionally, on schedule, and with minimal change orders (which were homeowner add-ons). BIC’s fixed price and no up-front payment before the work began were a plus. From the initial design and quote with Scott to the final walk-through with Kyle, BIC Construction demonstrated exceptional professionalism and technical expertise. During initial design meetings, Scott provided great ideas for both the finished space and an unfinished storage area. We found his CAD designs to be very helpful in visualizing the finished product and making changes to the design before any work began. BIC provided a detailed, competitive estimate and adhered to it, avoiding unnecessary change orders. Our project manager Sarah was on top of everything with early morning updates on the plans for the day and very quick responses to calls/texts. She did an excellent job of scheduling and coordinating the subcontractor team. We also very much appreciated Chris’ experience, ideas, attention to detail, and care as he worked final finish details and addressed any small issues. Sarah, Chris, and owner Kyle provided timely resolution of any question or issue that arose. The quality of work was outstanding. The BIC subcontractors were skilled in framing, drywall, plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and tile/flooring, paying close attention to detail in every aspect. A special shout-out to Jerry and his team at Copperline Electrical for taking the extra time to coordinate and double check the location of switches, outlets, and lighting with us; and to Dan who made the carpet selection process so convenient. Most importantly, we felt comfortable with BIC and the subcontractors in our home. They were courteous, respectful of our privacy, and minimized the disruption and construction dust. The project was delivered on time and within budget, transforming our unfinished basement into a beautiful living space. We are extremely pleased with the results and highly recommend them for your basement refinish project. We will definitely hire them again for any future project. Lori & Jim

This being our second basement project at our home using BIC, we wanted to share that on both occasions they exceeded our very high expectations. From the initial drawing process to the final punch list items, they were very professional, courteous and provided daily communication throughout the two projects. Every one of the subcontractors working with BIC were the same, very professional and thorough. Our first project in late 2021 with Patrick in charge was approximately 1,000 sq feet of completely unfinished basement into a bar/tv room with electric fireplace/bath and bedroom and the finished product is amazing. The second project was the finishing of the remaining 325 sq foot storage area into a home gym. Sara was wonderful to work with and provided an exceptional building experience for us. If you want total peace of mind when it comes to hiring a contractor you can trust, we recommend BIC as your go-to contractor! Thanks again to Scott, Patrick, Sara and the entire BIC team!!

Absolutely loved working with BIC. They exceeded our expectations and made are dream basement come to life. The daily communication was great and the weekly progress report kept us all on track. They finished the project on time and on budget with no surprises. Everyone on their team especially Patrick the project manager and Chris (who did the amazing acoustic wall) both were a pleasure to work with. We would highly recommend them for anyone’s basement project.

We had BIC finish our basement and we are so happy we choose them. From start to finish the process was smooth. We initially met with the owner Scott to go over design plans. We were thinking of a layout that was based off the builders floorplan and Scott offered a completely different layout that gave a better flow and better use of the space. He definitely brings his experience and knowledge to the process. Our construction supervisor Eddie, made the building process less stressful with daily communication of what was going on. He was always open for questions or comments. We even were on vacation for two weeks during the process and he went out of his way to make sure the construction continued while we were gone. We were so pleased with our basement finish from beginning to end. Our project was fairly simple in scope...a bonus room with a full bath, small closet, linen closet, and a couple unfinished storage areas we wanted closed off. We met with Scott twice who did 3D renderings of our personalized design and had great options to maximize space. His renderings even sold us on the accent tile wall with fireplace. Our project manager was Sara and she was excellent with communicating updates daily and making sure all our questions were answered. She was understanding with our change orders and was prompt with replies and answers. Chris also helped out with some installation items for us and final installs of product, including a custom size linen closet door that arrived as our project had just finished. Every contractor we dealt with was very professional, respectful, punctual, and we plan to use some of their companies contractors for other house projects. Overall, it was an awesome experience and we LOVE our new space.

No other bid I got compared with the consultations, detail and follow up that we got from Scott. Sara our project manager is awesome. She checked in everyday with updates on what was happening and when. Sara also stepped up anytime we had questions or issues and was right there when we needed her. The entire BIC team have been fantastic to work with through the entirety of our complete basement remodel.
