BIC Construction LLC

We had BIC Construction refinish our basement and could not be happier with the entire experience. From start to finish, they were an amazing company to work with. Scott did an excellent job designing the space — every single inch was thoughtfully accounted for in his design. Patrick, our project manager, was truly the best part of the process. His communication exceeded all expectations. He was always on time, kind, encouraging, helpful, and made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Chris, our carpenter, did exceptional work and ensured everything was done correctly and exactly as we envisioned. They made a wonderful team that really shone through in the final results. The contractors BIC partners with are top-notch. Their craftsmanship is exceptional, and they were not only skilled but also kind, respectful, and mindful of our family and schedules. They showed up on time and delivered beautiful results. I can’t recommend BIC Construction enough. If you choose not to use them, you will truly be missing out. And if you do, you’ll be so grateful you did. We will absolutely be using them again in the future and are already looking forward to it!

If I could rate them higher I would. They finished our basement and I couldn’t be more pleased. Patrick, Chris, and Sara went above and beyond to ensure we were happy and kept up to date on the progress. I don’t have a single complaint it looks amazing. If you are considering finishing your basement, use BIC. They were $50,000 cheaper than the two other estimates I got. They genuinely care about what they build. What can I say about the contractors they use? They are all phenomenal. CJ did an amazing job with the painting and staining of the custom bookcases I had built. The carpenter Sean built absolutely gorgeous shelves. Andrii the tile guy is a master craftsman the bathroom is incredible. The plumber, electricians and floor guys all did an outstanding job. I cannot recommend BIC enough.

We had a great experience with BIC from start to finish. The owner provided multiple 3D CAD drawings so I could really visualize the space, making live changes while we discussed options for design and finishes. It helped me think outside the box of what I could do with the space, while staying on budget. I had four bids come in and BIC was perfectly in the middle. I chose them based on the owners design creativity. Chris was our project manager and had great communication throughout. He was very responsive to calls/texts, quickly answered questions when they came up, and was at the house nearly every day. We changed a few things during construction, so the team advised me of cost and how to make it work. I got to distress all the shelving boards myself for a great, rustic look. All of the workers were polite, cleaned area daily, on-time and easy to work with. We are thrilled with our basement and would absolutely work with BIC again.

Our experience with BIC was outstanding from the very beginning. Scott showed up and gave us a quote and floor plan by the end of the day. His pricing was great and came in under what others had quoted. His attention to detail, quick responses along with great referrals from neighbors made the decision a no brainer. The process went smoothly from start to finish and they finished right on time, with no hidden fees or additional costs just as they promised. Payment schedule was fair and they didn’t request any money until we had actually seen progress. Patrick, our PM was extremely kind, flexible, communicative, dependable and honest. He worked hard for us to deliver a basement that was both functional for our needs as well as beautiful. Chris worked hard on the finishes to make our space functional and beautiful. The entire staff was kind, dependable, helpful and efficient. They showed up on a timely basis and were courteous to not be disruptive to our daily routines. I highly recommend Scott and his team for any basement finish. We are extremely pleased with the entire process and couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful and functional space.

We had an excellent experience working with BIC Construction to finish our basement. The layout is absolutely perfect—they truly made the best possible use of the space. From the very beginning, the team walked us through the entire design in detail, including outlet placement, light switches, door swings, and overall flow. Nothing felt rushed or overlooked. Scott, the owner, was fantastic with design guidance, communication, and timelines. Patrick was also great to work with and consistently clear and responsive throughout the process. Every contractor they brought in was high-quality and thorough. The painter and plumber were solid and detail-oriented, and the dry waller's & carpenter’s work were precise and clean. We live in a new construction home, and honestly, the quality of work in our basement is noticeably better than what was done upstairs by the original builder. It’s been about 18 months since the project was completed, and everything still looks and functions perfectly. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome and would highly recommend BIC Construction to anyone looking for top-notch workmanship and a smooth, well-communicated process.

We recently completed a basement refinishing project with BIC Construction, and we couldn't be happier with the results. From start to finish, the entire process was organized, professional, and stress-free. A special thank you to Sara and Chris, who kept everything running smoothly. They were incredibly responsive, communicated clearly throughout the project, and made sure every detail was handled with care. The craftsmanship and attention to detail exceeded our expectations, and the finished basement has completely transformed our home. The team was professional, respectful of our space, and committed to delivering a high-quality result. If you're considering a basement remodel or refinishing project, we highly recommend BIC Construction. Their excellent communication, project management, and quality workmanship made this a fantastic experience from beginning to end.

We are thrilled with our newly finished basement by BIC! We knew how we wanted to use the space, but couldn’t figure out how to make it work. Scott designed it perfectly! He really listened to us and used spaces in ways we hadn’t even considered! The entire construction crew was professional, talented in their craft, respectful, and did everything with integrity. The project manager, David, gave us a schedule at the beginning of the work, and it was finished only 4 days late! Unheard of with a 9 week project! They kept the job site clean and picked up most of the time, which we appreciated. During the construction period there were issues (typically items not being available on time due to post-Covid supply chain problems). David walked us through options, helped us think thru how the overall project would be impacted, both in terms of the look/functionality, and potential cost impact. His communication with us was excellent! We enjoyed working with him, and he consistently reminded us that his job was to ensure that we had a custom basement that we loved. We highly recommend using BIC Construction to provide you with a basement that will meet your needs, have high quality workmanship, and give you that special Wow! factor!

Great company to work with. Everything went smoothly with our basement finish, the project manager Sarah was awesome to work with and was spot on with everything. Our finished basement looks great! We highly recommend BIC to finish your basement project.

My personal experience with Scott and BIC construction on a recent basement finish was phenomenal. This is saying a lot coming from a 20+ year military veteran with an obsession for perfection. First, Scott provided an honest and transparent quote and payment system that was clearly superior to others. No 50% upfront to fund someone else’s finish. Second he quoted a particular amount for wood/framing and then credited the unused amount back to the final cost. He literally refunded/credited thousands and I honestly would have never known if his crew used all the lumber or not. He clearly works with ethics and integrity. In addition, his team seamlessly made adjustments to certain things when we realized we wanted to go in a different direction (lights, outlets, trim, etc.) and this credited $$$ back to us. Communication throughout the project was clear. They started on time, and finished on time. They didn’t keep their crew in our home past 4 pm and we never even noticed they were really there. Things just got done. In all honesty I could not have been happier with the project, the process, and the end result. I’d recommend Scott and BIC construction without hesitation to anyone that wanted a fair process and a quality finished project.

Outstanding basement finishing company from the initial consult and design phase all the way through the final walk through. Scott and his team are upfront about pricing and the contract locks in unless you make changes, a great feature with any large remodeling project. Craftsmanship of the entire team was on point and the basement is amazing. I had some key criteria for my theater area and wet bar and the team certainly delivered. I would recommend at least getting a quote for anyone looking to get a basement finish in the Denver area.
