I purchased 20 brand new Great Dane Trailers all equipped with Bridgestone tires... over a year ago . I was contacted by ... according to his card Chad Carroll , Commercial Sales Manager... He inspected the damaged tires and had the local Bridgestone dealer pick them up and he was going to issue us a credit and have the tires replaced just over 6 months ago... I have tried to reach Mr. Carroll several times... left voice mails and emails now to find he doesn't even exist in your data base ... and after being transferred 7 times to several division the last person I was transferred to handle your health insurance via a third party and had no clue of why I was talking to them.... How many times must the customer tell his story... how many times should one be transferred ... before you just wanna throw rocks at every bridgestone tire store until someone takes notice.
After over 10 years of trusting Firestone with our personal and company vehicles we Sadly part ways. Firestone is the most unethical company. They lie cheat and steal from their longtime customers with zero regard for morals or ethics. Be smart, take your vehicles ANYWHERE ELSE to make certain they are fixed properly without being cheated.
Well, I'm writing as the spouse of someone who took their FJ Cruiser to Firestone in New Braunfels, TX for tire rotation. Firestone dropped his vehicle on the lift! It has been approximately two weeks and numerous trips taking him to Firestone to of get them to repair and restore the vehicle to it's proper working condition. So far no luck. I filed a complaint against the Firestone store I have been going to for almost 20 years, and the Bridgestone Corporate Office told me to take my business elsewhere. This is how they handle feedback regarding their auto centers. Bridgestone/Firestone is a totally unethical corporation. All you have to do is read the reviews, and it will confirm my statement.
I Drove my BMW to Firestone Auto Care for an oil change on 2021 Jun 10. They spent almost 3 hours of oil change work, my car doesn’t move anymore than 10 miles per Hour. They tried to fix it but they couldn’t, they broke oil filter housing ( I didn’t know at that time) They said their insurance will take care of this, and filed the claim. Which is Bridgestone Americas Coporate Headquaters I took my car to BMW dealer nearby, and repair cost me $1583. Their claim ask me to not to fix it until the inspection, so I wait 8 days without a car. Then they deny the claim because the BMW dealer try to fix the problem. No.They didn’t, Firestone auto care tried to fix what they broke. The name of claim specialist is Cassandra and John. Normal oil change will never take 3 Hours. They messed up and don’t want to pay the repair. No answer, they are just ignoring the problem.
Apparently Firestone is all talk and no follow through with their promise of if they do it wrong the first time, they'll fix it free the second time because they misdiagnosed my car issue and didn't fix the issue (made it worse actually - stalled on the highway while driving) and then when I went to another location to have it rechecked they charged me MORE to fix it. To boot, I've spent the last 13 days trying to get a store manager, area manager, district manager, corporate manager - even left a message for the president himself in his "mailbox". Haven't heard a word. It's abhorrent that no one has reached out nearly half a month later to make it right. Shame on literally all of Firestone - not one single person getting back to me 🤯
Exercise caution when considering rebates from this company for tire purchases, as they have been known to fail to fulfill their commitments. It is advisable to explore alternative options from reputable tire providers.
Bridgestone owns another company called Azuga which offers dash cameras and gps tracking for companies with fleet vehicles. Beware of this company because they will get you into an unending contract with high priced exit fees. After reading the other reviews about Bridgestone they sound like they operate all the same, poor customer service.
Contacted Customer Service about a really bad experience I had with my local store. Kept getting promised a phone call from "upper management"...a call that never came. After following up a few times I received notice that the file had been closed and they could not re-open it. The complaint I reached out to them about originally was the ridiculously high markup they put on parts. From the local store I was informed that a part that cost them $122 was sold to me for $300. That is 150%! Do I have a problem with a markup? After all, someone DID have to take it off the parts delivery truck and DID have to take it out of the cardboard box. Basically, they will lead you to believe that they take customer care seriously and that they honestly want to look into a situation and resolve it. But in reality they'll drag it out...guess they're hoping you'll forget about it at some point. And if you don't, then they just "close the file" Looking at some of these other reviews, it would appear that this is not an isolated case. Misery loves company.
I sent Bridgestone an email concerning tire warranty for my new vehicle. I followed the instructions listed in my warranty manual which indicated how to contact the company for warranty concerns. The correspondence was on their website, all information was filled in on 8/30/22. I have yet to receive any information back. Instead of waiting for a reply and put my family at risk for faulty tires ( which are run flats with only 4320 miles ) I will replace them with a far better superior tire. A corporation of this magnitude should be concerned especially when I see their televised commercials stating such.
