I took my vehicle to Tires Plus for a repair and when I picked up my car, I immediately noticed that my steering wheel had been damaged in the process. There were scratches in several places. The store manager told me he would take care of the repair and submitted the paperwork to corporate, which is Bridgestone, for approval. A few days later, I got an email from Jillian Maxwell, a Bridgestone claims specialist, asking for photos of the damage, which I provided. She quickly responded that there was no evidence that they had caused the damage or that it was related to their service, and that they would not accept liability for the damage. Bridgestone is not a reputable company. They refused to repair damages they caused to a customer’s vehicle while under their custody for repairs. I dropped off the vehicle in the morning and my steering wheel was not damaged. When I picked up the vehicle later that evening, the steering wheel was scratched. Where else could the damage have occurred? I did not appreciate the insinuation that I was lying. I guess Bridgestone expects customers to photograph the entirety of the inside and outside of their vehicle before dropping it off for repairs, to provide as proof in case they cause some damage.

I have been a Firestone customer for over 25 plus years. Using Firestone for my current vehicle and my past one. Up until recently I have been content with services with the occasional small things that were quickly address. I under stand that there is 1 year warranty on work and parts that is done on vehicles. As a customer it should not be this difficult to get help when there is a problem. October 2025, I went in to have a repair done on my car. Two weeks later I was back for the same issue and was told that the work that performed earlier did not hold up so it had to be done again. About a month later the same thing is happening again. I called customer service number and they open a case on the issue. I was told it could take up to 48 hours before I would hear from the area rep. 48 hours turned into a week. Called customer again and explained what was going on and requested a refund of what I paid. I finally heard from the area rep the next day and I was told to go to different store. I asked him for a refund for the services but was told that they want to make it right. So, against my best judgement I went to another store. This turned into a 2-day repair because they broke a different part on my car and the part had to ordered. A 5 weeks later the problem is still there. I reached out to there customer service but days went by with no answer. I called again and nothing happened. I tried calling there the credit card company that they are partnered with to dispute the charge and explained to them my situation and was told my vehicle is old with a lot of miles what did I expect. I have a lifetime wheel alignment with Firestone went to get an alignment and they would NOT provide me with the before and after test results of it. Long story short Firestone does not honor their warranty on repairs. I ended up going else where to get my vehicle fixed. If you go to Firestone make sure you get a second opinion on the work they want to do and if you call there customer support do not be shocked if nothing happens

During the service at Antioch Firestone, the technician encountered difficulties adjusting the lift around my vehicle while trying to lift the car. He attempted to lift the car off the ground about five or six times when I heard a loud, blunt pop sound. The car slipped while watching from the window. It took several attempts before the technician was finally able to adjust the lift, but he had to leave and return with the blocks he should have used from the start. In that moment, I began recording and taking pictures of the incident and tapped on the window to inform the manager, Mr. Sala, about what was happening. Initially, he was on the phone because the technician, Alex, had been working on my car longer than expected. Mr. Sala kept asking Alex if he had found anything yet. Mr. Sala asked me if I wanted to come inside the shop and show him what I was talking about. I was hesitant at first. upon approaching the car, I explained that the lift had scraped an area and cracked the side skirt. Harrington, Charles (Bridgestone) Good morning and thank you for the email. I reviewed the claim again and wanted to send this email to let you know our offer will remain the same. We have an independent inspector that said “I observed the driver’s side rockers have no lift damage but only horizontal scratches that are not consistent with a rack slipping or damage from slipping in a lift would be vertical and not horizontal.” In addition to this you provided to us a previous damage estimate for both sides, that I would assume would incorporate some of that said horizontal damage. For these reasons we cannot authorize to repair both sides. Our offer remains at $1288.40. Should you change your mind, please return the signed release and we will compensate you for these damages. If you decide not to take the offer, please know that any further attempts to contact anyone Bridgestone will be not receive a response. I continued to send certified letters and emails to them, and no response. My insurance did an inspection on 3/19/25 and said it was lift damage as well on the driver's side, the bolts were pulled' ..... wrote Firestone/ Bridgestone and sent them the inspection I received from my insurance company. I decided to go ahead and let my insurance company fix the car. I took it to Crash Champion for repair after not hearing from them, and seven months had passed. Making a long story short my car was totaled from the incident. I continue to email and call. They were always unavailable, and no emails were returned. Out of the blue, 9/11 turned in rental brought my car home, Chuck from the retention dept. calls at Bridgestone calls. September 12.2025 A representative from Firestone contacted offering to pay my deductible after my 2004 Nissan 350Z was declared a total loss due to the damage caused by their lift. While I appreciate the outreach, this offer does not address the larger financial impact I’ve suffered. Because of this incident, I not only lost my vehicle but also had to go through my insurance, pay a deductible, rent a car out of pocket, and now face the reality that the settlement amount at first was not enough to replace my car. Firestone’s late offer to simply cover the deductible and a lower price the insurance company is requiring, the price to release them falls far short of fair compensation for the full damages and losses I’ve experienced. This situation serves as a reminder that companies must be held accountable when negligence causes significant harm. I’m continuing to pursue the proper resolution. The good news is insurance has now revised its decision and is fully covering my car, which means I can finally move forward with replacing it. Firestone, offer doesn’t make sense anymore. My insurance has already handled everything, so if you tried to pay me directly, it would just complicate things. 👉 Bottom line: You still owe me what they don't pay. A demand letter was sent by email and certified mail. They were trying to cut a deal to dodge responsibility and not cover all my out-of-pocket costs. Still no response.

Words can only describe how unprofessional and unbelievable a business like this is. On 11/15/2025 i went to a Firestone in the Bronx and got an oil change because I was told to come back after getting an oil change in 3/6/2025. Unfortunately my car encountered a series of issues after that oil change. An oil light and an EPC light keeps coming on. This never happened prior to this visit. I went back to the same location and was told 3 different things. First, I was told there's too much oil, the mechanic drained it, then the battery I had was "old" so i changed it the same day. After making two separate appointments coming back to be told that, I was told my car would need to be diagnosed. I went to a nearby mechanic and was told that the oil pan was leaking from a change that happened with firestone. Michael the claims specialist claimed the mechanic told him something different which was not the case. I then had to wait over two months for a third party diagnostic to come and look at my car because Michael did not communicate clearly if I would be reimbursed for having to put the car on a lift for a third party ins to look a it. Michael got back to me after two months of calling him only because i reached out to corporate and customer service. To which Michael was very rude and trying to blame me for lack of communication when I have ample proof of me reaching out and getting no answer from him. Michael was rude and threatened to close the case when I said not to. Michael should be reprimanded for his insolence behavior. The third party inspector was rushing the day he came out to check the car and did not inform me what was going on. I then requested after over 12 phone calls and several emails for Nick Michael's supervisor to contact me for a feasible solution and he has not called or emailed me back. I then called customer service and have left over 10 messages to corporate for someone to contact me and no one has. I called customer service and I was informed today corporate has closed my case and it is deemed as not to re open it.

The 3501 Gus Thomasson Rd, Mesquite, TX location told me my truck could not be aligned due to the steering rack needing to be replaced. They quoted $1,334.99. I took my truck to a 4.9 stars over 270 reviews shop. They aligned my truck without any issues. There was nothing wrong with my steering rack. I contacted this corporate office. Neither Area Manager Chelsea or Regional Manager Adrienne has followed up as I was told they would. This has been going on for 1 week at this point.

BUYER BEWARE of purchasing close out tires. On 04/2024, I purchased 4 Bridgestone Potenza Sport tires from Tire Rack and within 2 years and approx. 15000 miles the tires started to show Circumferential Upper Sidewall Cracks. The manufacture date code show the tires were made in 2021 so the tires were already 3 years old. After contacting customer service and providing Tire Rack with photos and tread depth gauge readings. They stated the cracks in the sidewall were not covered under warranty or defective and must been due to weather cracking. Tire Rack`s reply. "Sorry that you're unhappy with our determination. Please note that our visible inspection of photographs is our best guess based on common conditions of tires and which conditions are and are not considered warrantable with tire manufacturers. Circumferential Upper Sidewall Cracks come from the causes listed on the attached form, not from any defect in tire construction. We share this information with you because if we receive tires in such a condition, all we can usually do is confirm that the tires aren't warrantable with the manufacturer and offer to recycle them for you, which would be after you're also out the approximately $50 or so for shipping the 4 tires to us via our return process. If you disagree with our determination, we can facilitate a Pending Manufacturers Inspection (PMI) claim for you. In other words since you believe the Tire Rack determination is in error, instead of the usual inspection at our Tire Rack warehouse to determine tire warrantability, we would instead forward the tires to the manufacturer. Bridgestone would then inspect the tires according to their warranty guidelines and make their final decision, after which they would destroy the tires." None of Tire Rack`s listed possible causes of the cracks applied. The tires were well maintained with the proper air PSI checked monthly and within alignment specs. I would have to pay to have the tires dismounted, shipped and purchase new tires. This option is uneconomical and puts the financial burden on the customer. Now I`m stuck with unsafe tires and can`t afford to purchase new one. The tires have a 4 year warranty that starts on the manufacture date code on the tire not the date of purchase. So when I purchased the listed tires they only had one year left of warranty. At the end of the day, Tire Rack knew the listed tires were prone to cracking after being in storage for 3 years and they shouldn`t have sold them. This will be the last time I purchase Bridgestone tires.

We are writing to express my disappointment regarding the ongoing issues and lack of support We have experienced with our account through Firestone. Over multiple attempts to resolve concerns related to payments being posted to the wrong account, unexpected fees, and billing errors, the experience has been frustrating and exhausting. Each time we contact customer service, we spend nearly an hour repeatedly providing the same information, our account number, name, and the last four digits of the Social Security number, only to be transferred from one representative or department to another without any resolution. Rather than addressing the issue directly, our concerns continue to be pushed aside, leaving us feeling unheard and undervalued as customers. What is most disappointing is the lack of accountability and urgency shown by the management team when attempting to resolve these matters. As loyal customers, we expected professionalism, communication, and a sincere effort to correct the mistakes being made on our account. Instead, we have been left with the impression that our business and concerns simply do not matter. Due to the continued lack of resolution and support, we now feel we have no choice but to escalate this matter to the corporate office in hopes that someone will finally take responsibility and provide the assistance that should have been offered from the beginning. We respectfully ask that Firestone review this situation carefully, correct the account errors, address the improper fees, and improve the customer service experience for others who may be facing similar issues. The Johnston 5/13/26

This review is regarding Tim Gaines, Store Manager at Firestone location in downtown Louisville, KY. I visited this location with an issue today. While I waited for assistance, Tim Gaines was helping a young man in need of a different kind of assistance. The man appeared to be indigent. Mr. Gaines was very kind and courteous to the young man. He called a local pastor to assist this man. When he was finished assisting the man he began to help me with my issue. His tone with me was kind and professional. He went above and beyond to ensure my issue was taken care of. It was a pleasure and a blessing to have had the opportunity to have my car care needs handled by Tim Gaines. I want Firestone to know how much it is appreciated to experience this level of quality customer service and kindness. Thank you Mr. Gaines and God Bless you! G. Bolander

One of the worst customer service and claims experiences I’ve ever had. Tires Plus’ claims department showed a complete lack of professionalism and accountability. The assigned adjuster ignored repeated calls and emails, missed the stated 3–5 business day communication window, and provided no meaningful updates. Escalation to a supervisor led nowhere. During the inspection process, my vehicle was accessed without my consent, including unauthorized inspection activity, yet liability was still denied with no transparency or clear explanation. This experience reflects a deeply broken claims process and total disregard for customers. I would not recommend Tires Plus based on how this was handled.

Had issues at one of their Firestone centers have filed complaint on 11/10/2025 was told would get call back with in the next 48 hrs business day hours it is now the 24th called several times NO ONE has called back so today I called again only to be told to much time had passed. Here is a photo of what they did plus they broke my stabilizer bar and never replaced new hardware in my 1600.00 brakes. You will see how they used zip ties for the break pad sensor and how it is rubbing against my wheel well on drivers side
