If you’re having a medical problem and want to get quick care from a doctor that will make you feel cared for and help you get well I highly recommend not coming here. My experience here gave me no medical advice, no treatment, and a long wait.
Receptionist threatened to call the cops and have me removed from the office for insisting that according to my health plan administrator, Carbon does take my insurance. Carbon’s receptionist refused to even check my health plan ID number. I had to get my health plan administrator on the phone to clear it up. Once I got through the insurance issue, service was great.
Grateful to have Carbon close by for urgent care! The staff at 1390 Market St, always friendly, upfront, and efficient from start to finish; Katy Gutman NP is wonderful.
This urgent care is close to home. I can easily make appointments on line and the staff, from the front desk to the assistants to the drs, are always informative, patient and friendly.
I was sent here by another local urgent care that told me my shoulder injury likely needed an x-ray, which Carbon Health supposedly has ... but no x-ray tech to run it. While my right arm is non-functional (later diagnosed and treated as a dislocation), I had to push and pull a heavy door repeatedly (bc they also have to actively buzz you in both directions) just to enter and exit, use my left hand to access insurance information while I'm actively spasming, only to be told after some time and phone calls to another Carbon location, that they can't actually do anything for me. What's the point of urgent care that is neither urgent nor provides care and effectively _delays_ care by being a net distraction? And if you're going to tell me to go to an ER, please don't waste my time at a critical moment by making me jump through your administrative hoops. 2 stars bc ... it was clean?
They were running a bit behind—even with an appointment—but that’s pretty normal for urgent care and totally understandable. The front desk staff was incredibly kind. They checked everyone in quickly and even offered me a disposable heat patch since I was there for neck pain, which I really appreciated. The nurse was great too—she asked thoughtful follow-up questions and really listened as I described what was going on. The doctor was also wonderful. She was very kind, did a thorough exam, and clearly explained what follow-up care I’ll likely need and when I should go to the ER if things worsen. Overall, super professional, caring, and efficient care. Highly recommend!
Checked in online which saved some time. Place was clean, modern inside. Front desk girl was nice. Got seen pretty quick maybe 15 minutes. The provider was thorough, asked good questions, didn't make me feel rushed.
I was experiencing dizziness in my head, along with feeling pressure behind my eyes. I didn't feel i needed to go to an ER which was closer. Smooth, quick service by great friendly staff. Which i feel contribute to me immediately start to feel better. Easy to find an appointment online. Thank you
Went in for general testing and wanting to make sure everything is good. Appointment was at 3:30, didn’t get talked or looked at still 4:08!!! People who came AFTER ME got their appointment before me. The nurses were very reserved and the person taking my vitals literally said “I don’t think you need testing, everything that happens to you as a woman is normal.” NOOOO it’s my health and I know when my body isn’t doing something right??? After that I wait in a room for an entire hour and 5:00 hits and not a single person comes to check on me and I still haven’t even seen the doctor. They waste peoples time and do not care for actually treating people. Use any other place and I am NOT going back ever.
They were all incredible. I went there today for urgent care because I have been sick for 5 days and not improving. I did not have an appointment, but they took me right away. They determined that I have a lung infection and put me on a nebulizer machine with medicine to open up my airways. They ran tests and prescribed antibiotics which I am picking up now. I will go back for x-rays tomorrow afternoon after taking 3 doses of the antibiotics. They gave me excellent care. I definitely recommended this location. I can’t say enough to thank them.
