Always been more than courteous. I've never known them to be anything but helpful. When was the last time you heard of a utility that LOWERED their charges?! Clark PUD SHOPS for the lowest costs for energy and passes on the savings to us. Extremely happy with them. Free CFL (Currently Led) bulbs if you turn in your old or broken light bulbs. Many programs benefit the greater Vancouver area. .

So I would put a zero but that's not an option. Long storie short myself and gf were on the account, I moved out she stayed. I forgot to take my name off and they took me to collection for the three months she lived their. I called and talked with some lady ( Lucy) super rude and told me that in a few words it's my problem for not taking my name off. I asked her why they didn't contact me first before my ex gf took her name off (leaving me responsible to pay the bill when I didn't even live there) and she told me they don't have to. I thought rule of thumb(in the rest of the natural world) when two people are in a contract that the other person has to be a part of the decision.

As the old saying goes... don't mess with the power company. But I do really like them! Easy to pay, affordable prices, and even if you're month behind its ok with them.

Had a break at the meter this morning. CPUD was responsive and sent a wonderful Craftsman to get the leak fixed. John S. was amazing!!

They have always been super quick to get someone out to my house when needed. Just this morning I had been having major surges going through the house and someone was here within about 2 hours and found some wires that had corroded and caused an imbalance in voltage. Kenny replaced the wires and said that should fix my issue. 🤞 thankfully before anything worse happened ! I am pleased with their customer service - especially since I was going to call an emergency electrician that would have cost me $650. Electric issues are no joke and I'm grateful they have knowledgeable and skilled techs that know what they're doing!

No real problems with them, but their system apparently is incapable of updating an email address for an account. You have to call their reps who will delete your online profile and tell you to make a new one. It's 2023 and their solution to updating an email address is to delete the profile and start from scratch. Apparently it's way easier to remove an entry from a database than it is to update a string for a field.

One of the best utility departments I've worked with. Their communication and professionalism stands head and shoulders above others. Any issues I've ever had, both at an individual property or city-wide, have been resolved as quickly as possible by very knowledgeable technicians. Clark Electric is awesome, thank you guys for your service!

A while back I emailed CPU about one of their vehicles having caused damaged to my car on SR 500. The damage included a cracked windshield and paint damage on the hood due to road debris being kicked up from the CPU vehicle in the left lane, which had swerved onto the shoulder enough to cause debris to fly at my vehicle. Multiple rocks hit my car. I was keeping a safe 3 cars length distance away, and still ended up with damage to my vehicle (which I had just gotten and hadn’t even made my first car payment on). I really just wanted the windshield fixed, I figured that wouldn’t be much to ask. When their rep contacted me she pretty much said it was not their responsibility to take care of the damage done to my car, and told me that vehicle which I gave her the number of was not on the road that evening and that I mistook their logo for another, when in fact it was on the road and I saw clear as day when he finally moved over that they were apart of the CPU. I had my mother on the phone and had her take down their info that same moment. I told them the date, time, location, and truck number, but I was still gaslighted into being told it wasn’t their vehicle. Regardless, I still have a cracked windshield and damage to the hood of my brand new car that I now have to pay to get replaced and fixed because of their drivers lack of caution when in the fast lane. Moving onto the shoulder shortly and kicking up debris that then damages another persons property should be handled better. Disappointed to say the least. This happened months ago and I am still upset over it. Considering this is a large corporation which has commercial vehicles out and about every day you’d think they would have some kind of liability when it comes to the damage said vehicles do on the road.
