I’ve taken my vehicles to CMD for many years now. They have always done great work, and are great at answering any questions or dealing with any concerns. They have a great pre-sale inspection service where they will do 3 inspections for $99 on any used car that you are thinking about buying. There have been a couple of times where I have brought a vehicle in thinking that it was definitely the one only to have them tell me that it was in my best interest not to buy the car. They would then point out the multiple issues that the car had that often did not show up on the Carfax. What’s scary is that when presented with these issues the dealers wouldn’t even bat an eye, shake my hand, and tell me “have a nice day”. Just shows you that most car dealerships are about the sale and not what’s best for you. If you don’t have a presale inspection done on a used car before purchase then you are asking to be screwed over. This shop is great, and will not be using anyone else as long as I’m in Charlotte.

Love having an automotive repair shop that I trust and can fit me in within a week or two! Always feel taken care of, appreciate the transparency and honesty. Great team and reliable. Customer of 2 years now.

Last year my husband's car broke down on South Blvd. CMD was able to diagnose and repair his car in a timely manner and get him back on the road without the need for a rental or time off work. When my catalytic converter was stolen they worked with my insurance to replace it and installed a shield that I had shipped to them within a few days. I don't believe I paid anything other than my insurance deductible and the price for the shield. They use OEM parts which makes a difference to me. I've left my car with them several times to have things looked at and they always call before lunch to let me know what is wrong, how it works, and how much it will cost to repair. No messing around. Honest guys who do quality work.

I cannot say enough about Joe, Dwight and crew at CMD. I have been going there for 12 years and my husband maintains his work truck there (for closer to 15+yrs now). They have done routine care, major blowouts and also helped consult us on new car purchases. Great availability and communication and the prices are fair. I never hesitate to recommend CMD to friends and family.

They solved my car's AC issue after taking it to multiple other shops who could not solve the problem! Very thankful for them especially when dealing with Charlotte summers! Would recommend :)

These guys are great. I've taken my old Honda to them on a couple of occasions, and they always gave it to me straight (even recommending against some unnecessary repairs). When the Honda finally died for good, I had it towed to their shop to look at. They were very gracious in allowing me as much time as I needed to arrange for the car to be sold for scrap value, while it was parked on their property. Highly recommended.

As a woman who doesn't know a lot about cars, CMD has earned my trust. I've taken my car for service twice now. I was impressed the first time (upfront quotes, clearly explained, true to their word, fair pricing, provided either a ride or light rail ticket back to my office, clean space inside the wait room). The 2nd time I was having a simple issue w/ my tire light pressure that kept coming on in error and they did not charge me at all. I will cont. to bring my car here.

Kevin was extremely helpful and showed the best customer service that I have seen from an auto shop in a very long time. I found a nail in tire right before their shop was scheduled to close on a Friday. I just happened to be around the corner and he happily said to bring my car by. I was in and out in less than 10 minutes. HUGE life saver! I highly recommend this shop and will be back myself!!

Friendly service, good communication. They checked my VW daily for nearly a month to chase down an intermittent parasitic draw in the electrical system. Unfortunately the issue didn’t present itself in that timeframe, and so they said they wouldn’t charge me anything because they had not found anything. I think many other shops would have charged a diagnostic fee in this case.

CMD was able to help me very swiftly when I was in a pinch. Great communication, advice, and fair pricing. I am very lucky to have been recommended to them for my truck repair needs. Definitely recommended to anyone else. Thanks Kevin!
