10/10! I called in needing vehicle support on an old BMW and they promptly assisted me to the best of their ability, even on a busy day. I very much appreciate this shop and their high level of professionalism and kindness.

Had to take my car here after a rushed job was done at another shop in Georgia. They fixed everything wrong and did it at a reasonable price. If I lived here they would be my go-to mechanics. Service was professional, prompt and honest. Thank you so much! My car now runs perfectly

I have been a CMD customer for many years ever since they opened the shop on South Blvd (they have since moved). I try to do as much work on my own cars as possible but when I don't have the time or the energy or the expertise, I take it to CMD because they do it right. This shop is very different than any other shop. They are honest, straight-up, helpful and provide very high quality service. I tried some of the other notable shops in town but they just don't even come close to the level of honesty, quality and customer service as CMD.

Guys at CMD came through in a pinch. On vacation and the transmission failed on a 2017 chrysler pacifica. Dropped it off on a Wednesday and back on the road by mid Friday. I am extremely happy with their service.

I have used CMD for both my personal car as well as for a fleet of vehicles for a small business that I manage. I couldn't say enough good things about this place. Every time I've done business with these folks they've always been fair, honest and professional. I always trust their advice and their customer service is second to none. I highly recommend them to anyone in need of any automotive repair.

as a longtime client, I’ve seen a significant deterioration in the quality of service lately. My last experience was the final straw. They told me the engine was shot (has been performing fine for 9k miles since after another mechanic indicated no issue), and they broke my hood suspension and said its failure was coincidental. $110 to repair and $150 for a bogus diagnostic coupled with a rude front desk all culminated to a “never again” guarantee. Too bad - as I had been a decade long customer.

Kevin at CMD auto was awesome. To make a long story short I bought a used car that I shouldn’t have purchased. It had a bunch of problems. The first place I took it too gave me an outrageous quote, and said if I did the work they recommended the car would be good to go. I went to CMD for a second opinion and price quote. Not only did the first place miss that the car needed a new transmission, even with this added cost the quote CMD gave me was less than that of the first place I went. More importantly, Kevin was honest and told me that he would not recommend moving forward with repairs and to get what I could get for the car. No use throwing good money after bad. I appreciate his honesty, and after all of that he didn’t even charge me for the inspection they did. I will take any other used car I may purchase to CMD and would highly recommend it to anyone who asks.

It's clear the guys at CMD pride themselves on customer service. Whenever my wife and I have work done here they are careful to explain everything and the pricing is always reasonable. No trying to get you to purchase unnecessary work. I recommend this place to everyone and always hear how pleased my friends are to find a great mechanic. I’ve been a customer for 5 years now. Super fast, polite service. And- you can grab a drink at Suffolk Punch while you wait!

CMD Automotive deserves every bit of this 5-star review. After terrible, unsafe experiences at other shops, CMD was an absolute breath of fresh air. From the moment I walked in, they were professional, honest, and genuinely focused on keeping me safe, not upselling me. I brought my car in after Firestone and Valvoline both missed (and in one case caused) serious issues. CMD did a complete vehicle inspection for free, and within minutes they identified everything the other shops had overlooked. They caught that my oil cap had been screwed on crooked, which could have caused major engine damage, and they clearly explained why it mattered and how to fix it. They also checked my brakes themselves and measured my pads at 5 mm (not the 4 mm Firestone claimed) and reassured me that I did not need the expensive brake job I was quoted elsewhere. The entire team was kind, thorough, and incredibly trustworthy. They walked me through each issue without scaring me or pressuring me into unnecessary work. I never once felt rushed or talked down to. It’s rare to find an auto shop that cares more about their customers than their sales, and CMD absolutely proved that those shops still exist. I left feeling safe, informed, and genuinely grateful. CMD Automotive has earned all of my future business, I’m not taking my car anywhere else.

Incredible customer service from CMD, especially from Bill! I’m currently traveling for work but had a bad wheel bearing. I was too nervous to continue driving, and CMD fit me in really quickly for repair. They called me with a quote before doing any repair work. They explained the situation in depth. They greeted me by name when I entered the shop. It was a great experience, highly recommend.
