My sister lives in Philly and told me about this place having some of the best pancakes around. I'm a pancake snob and took her up on the offer to try Co-Op out. As a self proclaimed food critic, I give Co-op a 10/10! The service was prompt and our waiter Jonah was very attentive and informative since it was my first time visiting. I was overwhelmed by all the delicious options outside of the anticipated pancakes and Jonah suggested the chicken sandwich in which I added bacon with a side of breakfast potatoes and my sister got the pancakes along with a side of turkey sausage. Oh my goodness everything was pure perfection and believe me when I say, I am super critical when it comes to food. The pancakes, fluffy with a slight tang of buttermilk and a warm dallop of honey butter--scrumptious, the turkey sausage, fresh and flavorful and last but not least the chicken sandwich on a soft buttery brioche bun, lettuce, tomatoes, pickles and bacon, accompanied with perfectly crispy breakfast potatoes- chef's kiss! It was so good that I forgot to take a picture, next time! Thanks for the great first time experience!

Top notch, perfect service. Beautiful, relaxed atmosphere. Expensive- $5.50 for coffee (good coffee though- with cream and refills) and $15 for four pancakes, and the pancakes were okay, but they were pretty. Went for breakfast May 9 '25.

I was by myself and looking for a nice sit down restaurant with something new for dinner. I ordered the Agnolitti with the Dreamweaver wheat beer. Both were amazing and exactly what I was looking for. It was a nice day out and they had their garage door windows open so there was a nice breeze coming in and creating a great ambiance. I didn't think my order had taken an inordinate amount of time, but they brought me a complimentary cornbread with my meal. That's a level of customer service I've never encountered in Philly. Everyone was very nice and friendly. Would 100% eat here again!

Went during limited menu (2-4 p.m.). I’ll definitely return for full menu but my burger was delicious. Perfectly cooked at medium well. Great hostess & server. What more could you want?

Brunch was delicious. While everything we ate was tasty, including the homemade donuts, I was looking for some more options on the menu. My personal preference is for cakey donuts, but these were good too. Service was attentive and friendly. While portions were satisfying, some items seemed a bit pricey. I'll try another meal there for comparison. The location is great in the summer while schools are not so busy. Street parking was easy (4th of July week), but all SEPTA is nearby.

First off our server Craig was phenomenal! Very welcoming and personable. We had the pancakes and they were filling and yummy, with Apple bacon. Also shared the truffle fries they were pretty good. Great atmosphere and experience.

Three words…outstanding, outstanding and outstanding! The beef short ribs nested in the best grits I have ever had. Clearly Kyle knows his way around the kitchen when he served the heirloom cornbread with honey and butter, followed by an apricot sauce over cream desert. You can see the attention to detail. New to the team, Kyle is doing the thing! Will make this stop the next time I visit Philly and so will everyone I tell.

First time dining at CO-OP & it was amazing! Our server MATT was splendid & quick on his feet. Honey hot wings & chips with dip was a great way to start off. I definitely recommend “the 33rd” as a choice of drink along with the berry sangria! Steak plate was packed! And cooked exactly how I asked. Couldn’t snag a photo of their apple pie because we devoured it way too quickly!

Normally wouldn’t write a review for a place like this but absolutely loved our bartender Craig. Absolute professional to the likes of which you don’t often see in this city. He’s warm, respectful, and genuinely conversational, with a great instinct for when to chat and when to give space. You’re lucky to run into Craig when you’re here.

had breakfast...service was really good I must say with attentive staff but it could be that there weren't many people around. food was decent and prices were typical hotel breakfast like $16 to 20 and a pot of tea $4. pretty chill atmosphere too.
