Great and friendly staff, tasty food (small portions), and a lovely summer-y atmosphere. We went for brunch, and they had the big panel windows open which let in lots of sun and refreshing air. The lobby of The Study is directly connected to the restaurant, so there's a sort-of bustly lively energy about the place (in a good way), and we enjoyed the meal. It wasn't busy when we went, so we sat around for a while talking. We may come back for dinner sometime.
I visited on Saturday, March 7th specifically to try the pancakes, and they were honestly life-changing. They were fluffy, flavorful, and easily some of the best pancakes I’ve had in Philly. Because I love pancakes so much, I went back just three days later expecting the same experience, but unfortunately they were completely different. They tasted off and neither I nor my partner even finished them, which was really disappointing. I just wish that first experience was the standard every time. I actually want to go back again today, but I’m a little hesitant since $15 for four pancakes is a lot when you’re not sure how they’ll turn out. I’m hoping the consistency improves because when it’s right, this place is amazing. Service was great
Poor service and mediocre food. Nearly 20% gratuity was automatically included, yet I didn’t receive a single water refill or any attention from the staff. My initial order took almost 30 minutes to arrive — and when it finally did, it was the wrong bagel and missing cream cheese. The rest of the food was average at best; the pancakes were the only thing that stood out. Overall, I would not return or recommend this place.
Went to CO-OP in a whim and it was a nice surprise!! Very clean and good service. We had breakfast there for 2 on Labor Day and the food was delicious! Very good breakfast, pancakes were nice and fluffy with pure maple syrup. Huecos rancheros were so so good and all made from scratch. Slightly expensive for breakfast m, but I think it was worth it. Only disappointment was the small macchiato, but still delish!! Definitely would recommend CO-OP for breakfast! Looking to hit this place up for dinner soon!! Heard reservations were highly recommended for dinner. We had no issue on a holiday morning, but would recommend them anyhow.
Very nice and cozy restaurant, we ate there two days in a row during our stay at the study at university hotel. Delicious and high quality food. Good value for money!
We had a wonderful experience but what made it better was the lady we met cleaning in the bathroom. Her name was Asli A., and she was so sweet to us and thanked us for even coming to the restaurant. She was working hard even though she was carrying a cane which warmed our heart. God bless you.
I’ve been staying at The Study for a week on business training, and the bar and restaurant staff truly made the experience incredible. The bartender Steve has been amazing — fun, welcoming, and makes absolutely phenomenal drinks. We also had brunch with Max, who gave us great service and the food was fantastic. Elliot and Rose helped us throughout the week as well, and everyone consistently went above and beyond. Graysen added the cherry on top for our last night! This staff is truly amazing! The entire team made our stay so enjoyable. I would definitely recommend this spot and would absolutely come back!
I've been trying to get here for awhile. Saturday brunch was really good. Great food and beverage options and our reservation time was perfect time to go! I will be back❤️
this is my new favorite brunch spot in philly ! i originally tried going when i first landed but i missed the time by ten minutes. however the hostess was very kind and encouraged us to come back. i made a reservation this time and invited some friends. when we showed up the hostess remembered us and was very kind and welcoming. a few minutes after she seated us she brought over a SWEETS BOARD and thanked us for coming back and said the board was on the house ! :) it was super delicious and my friends and i enjoyed it very much. it was a great atmosphere, great service, and the food was amazing. like i said it has become my favorite brunch spot and i will definitely be back again !
Make server kinda rush us the whole time but Hannah was very nice and helpful, most of the time we use other ppl as our server. Food lack seasoning badly and its over priced. Best latte I ever had that was the only good thing
