I would not recommend anybody going to the store especially to buy TVs did the TV show the courts or the broken screens that are not check them we bought one for $24 we came home and they have the cord we've had chords but we turned it on it was completely broken they don't refund your money back they don't show the TV you just screwed out of money if you buy it to you from this place I recommend you not to buy no one from nowhere this place
Although the lines are long and it gets hot in here, I enjoy coming because they have some really good stuff. Prices are reasonable and yes sometimes they can be high but it’s not bad. Staff I think are doing the best they can to especially with the enormous amount of customers. It be nice to have all three registers open but still like this store!
Has a lot variety of clothes, you can definitely score some good stuff. But some of the prices are too high for donated items. Also be really careful when you pay they may CHARGE YOU EXTRA.
You can really find some nice clothing or items here, but you'd think they would really satisfy their customers by having a public restroom, which they don't have one. You literally have to go potty before you decide to go here and hope you don't get the urge to go potty. Secondly it's soooo hot in here, it feels like a sauna in here. You are trying on clothes and they are sticking to your body, that's how hot it is and you hear alot of people complaining about the heat. I'm going to complain to the health department because that is not right. You have elderly going in here, kids, babies and maybe people with a health condition and it's soooo hot in here. I hope all the people that go shop here place a complaint on this place so owners fix the problem ASAP.
Experience on Friday morning to early afternoon 10-11:30 am. I was there today and first time here! During that time I saw workers putting out new items so I assume throughout the day they stock like Texas Thrift? I did see the line long at one point at checkout but when it was time for me to checkout it was just me so depends on time you go for the long lines reviews? No bathrooms. They do have 3 fitting rooms (2 have a lock & 1 is missing doorknob so need a friend to stand outside door) and there is a sign says limit of 3 items at a time to try on. Clothing is organized by category of tops, long sleeves, skirts, jeans etc and by color. So definitely need time & patience to find your size! At checkout I saw a sign to download their app to collect points, easy to download & sign up. I asked the employee how I scan and she showed me how and I believe it's a point for every dollar! She was friendly! For pricing it's ok, Levi's & AE jeans I got were priced at $12.51 each (better than retail I'll justify the pricing that way, lol) and my women basic tops were $3.93 & under. I scored some kids tops at $1.91 marked down which you'll see on the tags they'll write the new price. 4 stars only because the tags are stapled on clothing need to be careful on removing. I took it off carefully on a shirt but still left a visible hole :/ Good thing it's on collar back part. Overall, I'll shop here again!
Literally the worst thrift store I’ve ever seen. Nothing is organized by size or, really, organized at all. Half the stuff doesn’t have price tags (and they won’t sell it without the price; the grouchy cashier acted like I’d removed it for some nefarious reason). The aisles are about two inches wide. Despite appearing to have a ton of employees (several of which smashed into me with huge merchandise carts), only one register was open. The cashier was so rude about the price tag that I left with nothing. It also smells like they wash the clothes in sewage. Never again.
First and foremost, the location is not pleasant. Often times, you have what appears to be homeless people loitering or literally sleeping on the sidewalk next to the establishment. As far as the actual store, the layout is okay but the presentation of items is a bit unruly. Areas are definitely not clean. Also, the way they price items is unsatisfactory. Other thrift stores provide same/standard rate pricing for item categories, for instance with books, the paper backs will ALL be one price, hardbacks will ALL be one price. Here, they will either look up every single book and/or go off what they think the book should be worth, and price it. This provides unrealistic, inconsistent, and unfair pricing. Doesn't the shop get these items for free?? Another awful aspect of this shop, is the lines. Every single time I have been in the shop, the lines are long, and the checkout process is at a snail's pace. There are 4 registers and most of the time only one person will be checking out people. I see people putting their stuff back and walking out, instead of waiting, which is understandable. Lastly, the rewards system they have is egregious. Explain to me how its okay that you reset people's points every single week, and you allow only one day/one chance to redeem these points? Doesn't that create a bottleneck? What if that person cannot make it that week? All of what they spent is voided? Other thrift shops that have rewards, keep your points long term, so you can use them when you can. Every dollar spent is a point earned. Not here...at the end of the week, if you cant make it on Sunday, and take part in the stampede of people trying to redeem their points too, you will have no points the following week. This store's reward system is unacceptable and borderline fraudulent.
Family Thrift Center has Top of the line the items , with a selection of Purses , Polos and jewelry and the price is hands down the best , the only downside is no public restrooms, with 80 % of there clients being females you’d think they would!
Staff are slow and take their sweet time. Everything is way overpriced sometimes more than buying new. I rarely find anything good there mostly junk.
This is one of my favorite thrift stores. I’ve been shopping here for over 12 years. . I love the way it’s all very organized. They have everything color coded. It’s pleasing to the eye! Friendly staff. Prices are usually great. They always have mark downs too. Very affordable. I have noticed lately the prices going up a bit. I like that you can get a discount on Sundays if you buy during the week. Only thing is if you don’t go on Sundays to use the discount, you miss out. I wish they’d change that. Other than that I love this place. Best one I’ve been to so far.
