Best meat market around. Price and quality are excellent. They sell BBQ got and cold. It's so good....
LOVE this place! Good meat and deli items. The cooked food outside was amazing! Their bbq sauces are really good. Most of the staff is friendly with the exception of the older tall skinny guy behind the deli counter. He rolled his eyes at us and has been a bit rude more than once. I hope you get to retire soon, sir!! ....Otherwise I would give 5 stars all day.
We've been picking up brisket and burnt end sandwiches since before the owner's changed. The BBQ is always delicious, the meat is tender and the sauces are tasty. We love the waffle fries! They aren't greasy and have a parmesan seasoning blend to top them. We tried the onion strings this time and they are really tasty as well. One order of onion strings is huge and will feed at least 3-4 people easily. The new owners have opened up the parking lot for more space.
I got an 18lb turkey fresh for a little over 50 bucks the week of Thanksgiving. Butchers were a great help.
Great local joint. Has a great meat section for everyday cooking, all the way up to special cuts for dinner parties.
Great selection of meats! I purchased a lb of Brisket for $20/lb and there was zero fat on it. It resembled the taste and texture of cardboard. Very disappointed. I am use to melt in your mouth, juicy, amazing, bursting with flavor brisket that my Father smokes. I was missing him so much that I thought this would make me less home sick for my Father's grilling. I was absolutely dead wrong. I also purchased a couple bacon wrapped sirloin and they were delicious. Great cuts of meat and I love the toothpick they use to secure the bacon. We tried the steakhouse bacon wrapped pinwheels, they were good. We purchased a couple of the spinach pinwheel and going to try those tonight.
So I go for a good ribeye for on the grill tonight for a special dinner. Not only did the guy behind the counter not understand what I wanted, I get home to find this. I wanted a 1" thock ribeye. I used to cut meat and stood in those shoes. I would never have let this leave the establishment as a $24.99 cut of steak. I certainly hope they cook better than they look. Very disappointing. I should have walked away after he put them on the scale.
I just spent 50.00 on two filets. They were obviously cut with the chain portion still attached because when I unwrapped them at home both had intramuscular gristle through them. Why can't butchers cut a filet properly. This is BS.
Big fan of this place! They have everything you could need in a small space. Alcohol, vegetables, fruits, meats, drinks and snacks galore! We love the quality of their meats and the selection is huge! They always have sales so it all very well priced. 11/10!
You can't beat this place. The best meat ever. Good place for lunch and the people are friendly and helpful. It's a breath of fresh air in today's world.
