The nice points are location and its breakfast. However, the bathrooms are too small/ crammed and the room was infested with giant cockroaches.
Was my favorite grocery store till they stopped allowing skateboards. Not sure what I'm supposed to do lock it up like a bike? 😆 Just ridiculous. I say that's. Grounds for boycott. Discrimination against skaters
Big store with covered parking! Their Organic and non-organic vegetables are as fresh as any other grocery store in town with lower prices. Win-Win!
Ok selection. But only shop here if you want to be stared at by the cashier, who just stands there impatiently while you bag your own groceries. I've no complaint with bagging my own groceries, but man. They look at you like you're a lazy POS if you don't finish by the time they are done checking out. And don't expect them to help either. Super awkward.
I am so sick of this place. The customer service is simply horrendous. I know, there are a lot of bad customers who wander in from off the street and try to steal stuff, but can they not treat their regular customers humanely? We've been coming here for years on a weekly basis and still get treated like garbage. We're through!
I stopped in the store to see what plants they might have. To my surprise everything looked amazing! Normally associates overwater and I find plants that are in different stages of root rot, but not this time. The entire selection looked perfect and healthy so I bought 3! Jonas is doing a great job taking care of everything and I will be back! I've never written a review for Fred Myers but this definitely definitely deserved it!
The nerve to inflate prices right before the Holidays is pure GREED. They artificially inflated and withhold products during the pandemic and refuse to raise employee wages. Regardless of what they will say, they are using the bird flu to increase profits, just as they did during Covid. Weird... other stores seem to keep their prices the same. They also have the nerve to use a yellow sale tag.
Poor selection, organization is all over the place for essentials, high quantity of name brands no off brands or cheap options, Clearly a manipulative marketing decision to increase revenue. Would not recommend shopping here tbh. Especially if you're on a budget.
Who can’t love ‘em? Stadium Freddie’s is our anchor in the heart of urban Portland. Something for people from all walks of life. Decently clean, well stocked, friendly staff.
Just had one of the worst service experiences at the fresh seafood/meat counter. Only one employee was there, and he told me he couldn’t help with any fresh items because he was ‘only here to give someone a ten.’ Instead of assisting me—or the two other customers waiting—he kept himself busy with side tasks and didn’t call anyone else over. To make it worse, three other employees were standing nearby chatting. When I asked if someone could help, they just pointed back to the same person who had already said he couldn’t assist. No one stepped in, no urgency, no effort. I ended up leaving without my purchase and went to Safeway instead. Really disappointing.
