I've been enjoying the selection at this goodwill. Today - November 13, 2024 they had a sign on the door saying "we are closed" I had no idea they were planning to close and I saw no reason mentioned as to why.
Today I go to the store and 3 days ago I brought a shirt for here I shirt did not have a tag but the rest did and when checking time I told lady there was no tag on the t-shirt and she did not let me return it and and the lady was very disrespectful and cursed at me and she did not give me my money and she was very rude and that upset me 😔😔😔
Half off day! 2 cashiers with 4 registers and the checkout line goes to the back of the store.. where are you on this one management?? Suggestion: add 2 more employees on a day you already know you are going to be busy.. please try to help your customer experience.
We love to go to all of you good well and other place!! Good outstanding people are so nice to us!! But some times you price is a little much, I am looking around for a job that let me work for one day of week? And how much it pay a hour? And how many hours it pay?
First time at this Goodwill store. It was nice, clean and quiet. The patrons of the store were very very nice and so was the cashier at the register. I found quite a few things that I liked and so I purchase them. I would recommend coming to this store and I will be back to the store in the future.
Always a long line, everything overpriced.. over $100 for a desk.... This is a goodwill... The intended purpose is for people to donate their items so that Goodwill has free stuff that they can sell at a reasonable price to people who can't afford furniture at retail and then they list a desk for $100?? This is supposed to be a place for people that are in need to come buy things that they can't afford otherwise but at this rate you'd be better off going to Walmart and buying stuff brand new and it would be cheaper.
DO NOT DONATE here. The staff at the donation center was rude and arrogant and basically turned us away. We arrived yesterday afternoon with a truckload of furniture and things from my mother's apartment after she had passed away. If you've ever lost a parent you know that sorting through their home and things is impossibly hard and I was blessed to have 3 close friends help my husband and myself. The furniture and most of the belongings we had in the U-Haul to donate were in PERFECT condition and most of the furniture was less than 2 years old and for the most part unused as the only thing my mom could sit in was her recliner which we did have plans to donate. The woman at the donation door immediately looked down her nose at us and told my husband "We don't take just anything. It has to be in good condition, no pet hair or smoke or anything" and this was before we ever even opened the truck to show her what we had. She was shaking her head at us and everything about her body language said "go away". One of my best friends who was helping us tried to politely intervene and assure her it was in excellent condition and that he knew their standards as he's previously worked at a donation center and she was rude to him also saying "well what all do you have and where have these things been?" all with a very sarcastic tone. We seriously had 5 adults standing there in shock that they didn't want to even see what we were offering. I just stood there with tears streaming down my face as losing a parent is hard enough, but when you are trying to donate their things to help someone in need and you are treated like this it is just horrible. She totally refused to even look at the things we had in the truck. My husband was as stunned and hurt as I was and so we left without even unloading a thing. My husband called around, and found out that an organization called "Arms of Hope" in Hurst has a thrift shop, and they were more than delighted to take all of the furnishings we had and the minute we arrived there they sent out to kind and polite young men to help unload. The do not take beds so we called and ended up taking the bed (which was less than a year old) to Mission Arlington and they were also very gracious and happy to receive it. Sadly at both other places when we told them how we'd been treated at Goodwill they said that it was not the first time they'd heard such a story. I've donated thousands of dollars of quality home furnishings, clothing, appliances and more in my lifetime to Goodwill, but my experience yesterday was just unacceptable. NEVER AGAIN will they get a single thing from me and I will let everyone I can know about it and will instead refer folks to organizations that do not treat people like that.
One of the MOST disorganized Goodwill stores I have ever been to. The men's section was a bit better than the womens. The signage was good but not much was where it was supposed to be. The only reason I am giving 🌟🌟 is because the cashiers were friendly.
If you are looking for spare parts to restore your Delorean to stock, don't go here. They get mad when ask to see their stock of gull wing doors. What is worse, they threw me out of the store when I asked for spare flux capacitors. I came back later and saw some nice second hand clothing and housewares though. If you're looking for stuff like that, it's a pretty good place to go.
I do donations here ALL THE TIME, I live pretty closed, but today (Jun 29) I dropped a few donations and did not like *at all* the attendant opened the bags I had on my trunk checking “what was inside” He asked me “what’s in this bag?” (the larger one) I told him “there’s a little bit of everything” (as usual) he started ripping off bag entirely and taking the donations out of the bags while the bags were still sitting in my trunk……which btw I DID NOT LIKE at all, with what purpose? What’s the point? The bags were NOT leaking, wet or smelly, that was totally unnecessary, specially when I’m fully aware that’s not a “normal practice bcuz I do donation at this center almost every two/three months AND if that happens to be a “new rule” it’s a very bad idea of who ever came up with that, that’s why there are different bins on the donation aisle + there are employees inside dedicated to sort items out.
