Used to be a great place to get used household items, but it's run now in 2024 November by someone who doesn't understand that Facebook Marketplace and other online shopping gives similar pricing for better quality or brand new products. Sell it, stop garage sale hoarding. Being part of a community seems less important to 2024 Bedford Goodwill than some unattainable forever standing mission, might as well say your mission is world peace so to keep over pricing shoppers.
Update. I just waited in line and the cashier just walked out. Why do i keep coming here? These are the rudest store employees anywhere. So rude! I went to drop off cardstock and craft stuff and the guy was super rude and condescending. Even if you don't want a donation, he should just say they are not accepting that type of donation at this time, not "have you even been in this store?" Don't donate to this store unless you want people to be rude.

Staff removed all 50% off tabs at noon Sunday, store opened at 11am. Manager ambivalent. 50% off color posted on entry door, still they removed those items from the floor!! Also, many items I looked at were priced like new retail...too high. I've shopped here few years, but will not until management gets a clue , do what you advertise and get real about the prices..
Stopped by earlier today for some last min items. As i'm checking out, Tiffany seemed like she was doing something on the register so I kindly asked, If she was open?? Cashier Tiffany paused and just deadass just rolled her eyes right at me and started scanning my things. I let this lady know, you could have just said no..? like I could of went to the next lane? Not that hard lol I just don't get people who have a job but yet have this attitude towards BUYING customers.
Came to donate and some guy put up cones and said they will not accept donations at this time.
This store is the worst I came in today because I have over 500 loyalty points and I wanted to use my $10 off turns out the damn system was down so I had to pay full price. There is always an issue every time we visit this place I might as well take my business somewhere else. The cashier was too busy making conversation with the guy next to her to even acknowledge me until it was time to pay
I've been shopping this goodwill for years. And I must say the pricing has gone way up! I'll go in twice a month now and rarely fine a bargin. 6.99 for a used t shirt which looks used and worn out? So sad they forgot this stuff was donated. Wish I could post the picture i took!
I used to live in the area, and this Goodwill was my go-to spot for great prices. I stopped by recently since I had a doctor’s appointment nearby, but it’s been about a year since my last visit. I was honestly appalled by the prices. Some of the items were marked so high it was almost comical. It’s disappointing to see how much has changed. A bamboo steamer was priced at $25 but you can get one brand new at Target for $19.99. A decorative Hobby Lobby scale priced at $18. I even saw a basic table top Christmas tree for $15. Updated to respond to GW 11/7/25: I truly value the mission of helping others, but I think high prices can unintentionally work against that goal. When USED items cost more than NEW ones, it makes it difficult for those in need to shop affordably. As someone in need, I also shop at thrift stores to save money while supporting local causes. There are many other thrift stores that do the same important work and still keep their prices affordable, and I would encourage people in a similar situation as me to explore OTHER options.
This store is amazing 🤩 I call this Goodwill store "The Neiman Marcus of Bedford". I find all my designer clothes and house decorations at this particular Goodwill. The staff is friendly and there is new stuff being put out daily. And with a rough economy, thank goodness for Goodwill.
