Edit: local donations must also be down. I know I personally donate to other thrift stores where the pricing is better so maybe others have done the same. Ive been going to this GW for about 2 years. Over the past few months they have significantly raised prices on goods and decreased the quality/value of the items they put on the shelves. It seems that everything is at least $5 (or more) and it's junk. Now retail shoppers are asked to pay more for less. They used to have some good items for a great deal. Also the shelves are somewhat sparse lately like they have curated what they put out too much. I can only assume theyve started to send more to the e-commerce site. Ive added pictures of the overpriced junk. Video shows vinyl from dollar tree for more than what dollar tree charges lmao Also I DO NOT CARE ABOUT SOME GENERIC RESPONSE FROM GW. Please add something about scamming retail customers with increased pricing and decreased value to your mission.

I would like to share my recent experience at Goodwill because I left feeling very disappointed. I have always believed Goodwill was a place that supports the community by offering affordable items while helping people in need. However, during my last visit, the prices were surprisingly high, which made the shopping experience frustrating and discouraging. What upset me the most was the attitude of some employees (specially the lady with the black glasses . I don’t know what her name is.) . I felt unwelcome, as if I were bothering them or doing something wrong simply by looking at items. The way I was treated made me feel uncomfortable, almost as if I was being suspected of stealing, even though I was respectful and did nothing inappropriate. Customer service is very important, especially in a store that represents community values. I hope management can review both pricing and customer service practices so customers feel respected and appreciated when they visit. Thank you for taking the time to read my feedback. I truly hope future experiences improve.

I visit many goodwills and the management at this goodwill is the worst. They are rude and not accommodating at all. This is based on many interactions. The last couple being in the last few days. Yesterday 2 items were not priced and they refused to price them even though they said a manager was there but they wouldn’t call her and today 2 items exact items were ticketed at$6.49 but they wouldn’t honor the price because it had a hand written different amount and they wouldn’t honor the ticket price even though both were ticketed the same. A month ago an item had a price tag and they wouldn’t honor because the manager said the price was wrong. There was no other price on it and they wouldn’t sale the item. I have seen this happen to other customers as well. This goodwill definitely has higher prices but I continue to visit because it is close. All the other goodwills and thrift store I visit have wonderful employees and I enjoy shopping there. I am not a reseller and I buy items because I’m on a fixed income.

Two stars due to management. Pricing is weird. Shirts that are typically $2.39 at other goodwills are $5+ at this location. That being said, dresses are normally $10 at other stores and this location had them for $6.99. I did find some cute stuff though. I can get past inconsistent weird pricing, my biggest issue was a dressing room situation. I came in the store at 4 pm and saw the opening to the dressing room had racks in front of it. I shopped for an hour and was ready to try stuff on and be done. I asked an employee about the dressing room and was told it was closed. So I asked a lady at the register who said the same thing but wouldn’t explain why. So the cashier called the manager and the manager told me they closed the dressing rooms due to cleanliness and safety of customers. As you can see in the pictures, the only thing in there was the racks blocking entry. She stated an employee was in there cleaning it right now and if it gets clean before close it would reopen, but they were short staffed so it probably wouldn’t happen. She also said I can buy stuff now and if it doesn’t fit, I could go through the hassle of returning it (only to get store credit, not my money back.) I told her I don’t buy anything without trying it on due to sizing inconsistency with clothes and asked if there was an alternative option for customers to try things on. She literally walked away from me and went to the back. I then stood by the dressing room for 30 minutes waiting, not a single person came to “clean,” and it wasn’t until other customers complained about the same thing that the manager moved the racks and reopened the area, without once “cleaning” the stalls. So it was never unclean or unsafe, the manager just didn’t want to open the rooms back up for whatever reason. I thrift at least once a week, most of the time more, I likely will not return back to this location due to the laziness and unprofessionalism of the manager.

Rude employees. The manager is the worst, tried to buy this electric piano, and when I get to the counter, I’m told I cannot take it out the front door because it doesn’t fit in their plastic bag, that I would have to pick up the 5 pound plastic piano from the loading dock in the back. Ridiculous. Guess they don’t want your money.

Yesterday, I went to the Goodwill in Bedford,TX. The store had the color tag green on for 50% off. It was around 5:30 PM and they close at 7PM so I looked around for quite a while for unique items. Finally, I found a color tag green item on the floor. It was a light weight green jacket XL and it fit me well. I also found several other items but no green tags. To my surprise, when I got to the counter the check out, the clerk refused my green tag discount. She even went to the other checker and acted as if the tag was changed. The thing is ...she went over there & had already pulled the tag off. When she returned, I asked her if she was insinuating that I changed the tags...she said "no". Nevertheless, she wanted to charge me the full price... instead. I was insulted... because the tag was on and valid...I only had one green tag purchase. To assist in the conflict...I mentioned that each tag has an identity scan but she did not even scan the tag. It was clear to me she was not trying to give me the customer any discount or empathy. Unfortunately, did not buy the green jacket. I put everything back... except...a Dallas Cowboys jersey. Note: Please owners ----hear this...I am a senior citizen I like a good deal and work hard to find them. She should have scanned the item for info & honored the discount...either way. Additionally, she lost a bigger sale. IMO...people that work at your store don't have time to shop. They will steal the customer's great find or discount items. This has happened to me before... I should have called the manager...but I was too upset! Regretting my inaction A. Smith

This goodwill seems to have a good variety of items to choice from but the biggest problem is the family that sits in the back holding baskets of stuff ALL DAY LONG. They take shifts and run and get everything that they can in the baskets that are brought out! Everyone I know that goes in this store wonder why they are allowed to hang out there everyday all day and grab everything they want. I’m pretty sure they connections with the employees & management, to allow them to camp out there all day. The store may as well be their private store, since no one else can get anything, unless the fight them for it!

Just today I had a customer who said it was her first time in this Good Will and she said it was very clean and nice employees. I told her to do a review on us. She said she will be back.

I used to love this location, but the prices have gone through the roof. 20 dollars for a wooden box...from goodwill? I don't think so. Their prices are higher than Ross in some cases. Great stuff, but the prices are INSANE. I will say the store is super clean and the employees and very helpful.
