Please Please Please look at the negative reviews of this school! They are all VERY TRUE! This place is a money hungry machine that has zero Christian values as they portray. They are bait and switch salespeople. My son had the worst experience ever. I really wish we would have known about this joke of a school. So much wasted money!! They won't respond to any calls or take an appt. They all hide behind their computers and will not engage in any conversation. There is a reason they have sooo many horrible reviews. If I can keep one family from wasting their money and time here, then I can sleep at night. I hope these people learn to do better to their fellow humans, SHAME ON GCU!!!!!!

I had such a wonderful experience earning my M.Ed online through Grand Canyon University. It was so convenient to my full-time teaching schedule. I recently graduated and I am so thrilled to have accomplished this goal. I feel that I will be a better teacher and have more opportunities because of this experience. My GCU counselor kept up with me without me having to constantly email or call them. They reached out to me to check in, especially if I hadn't been logged on in a week or so. They always check in on you, and it helps to keep you on track. Everything was so convenient and it was a positive online learning environment. I would love to continue learning here!

Will not stop spamming me with calls. They change the number each time so I cannot block their calls. I've registered with the do not call registry, yet they find a way around it and send me a call. This place is a scam, do not give them your information.

This is the worst college you could attend as an online student. They let me start classes even when my financial aid did not clear. Christy Morris was who I was signed too and she did not do her jo as she calls herself a "Christian" woman. She stopped emailing me back once I asked her what was going on with my classes and why was I being billed. Then my financial counselor Dennis A. Dvorovy III, MSL was horrible as well. He never could give a call back to let me know what was going on with my aid. Once I left a voicemail stating I was going to be withdrawing from the school he all of a sudden sent out an email trying to help. This is not a Christian based school. I'm so glad I have all emails and print out of both conversations from these two. Please upcoming students who are trying to go here. Please do not. They talk about Titke IX, but they do not even stand by it. I forward every email to my attorney just incase they try to stick me with the bill that they said they said they would cover since it's their fault. I wish I never would of came here.

ANY STUDENT SEEKING TO ATTEND, PLEASE READ AND LISTEN TO THE NEGATIVE RESPONSES. I WISH I DID AS WELL: I had extremely high hopes for the school. I waited before writing this review because I hoped the school would do the right thing. This school is a business before anything, and in less than 1 week, I learned that Christian values and integrity did not show up. I wanted to attend GCU after finishing my bachelor's degree at Walden University in 2025. I had an excellent online experience with Walden University from start to finish, and even now, as I call for any help as I graduate. I did not do my Master's with Walden because they did not have a Master's in Nutrition. My recruiter did everything to get me into their bridge program to take requirement classes for the Master's in Nutrition program, even though I was 100% sure. The school took time to evaluate my credits, and I thought I could attend before 7/14 for orientation as a new student. I did not get the call until the day of. They would not take two classes they required I had already taken. I disputed the two courses in question, and she felt confident that they would take them and urged me to start. They put me in a chemistry and lab class late that evening. I felt rushed in and DID NOT get any new student orientation. I felt lost in the class because I had no student support to use their system. I asked for help from the professor, who told me she does not do office hours but can message her. Unfortunately, messaging takes time to get a response from a professor online when you need assistance on which chapters to read for the homework. I called technical support over 8 times during 4 days, asking how to use the system to find lecture material and an ebook. I was told my student counselor would contact me to help me, who was out of the office, and the replacement could only do so much. After numerous attempts, I could not get into the lab. I was done after calling technical support, which could not help either. I ask to drop the course that week. Of course, the only who could was not back until the following Monday. After email, voicemail, and requesting a supervisor (your student counselor handles financial aid as well), I finally contacted the student service advisor. After expressing my extreme frustration with the system and not being able to complete the work for the week because I could not navigate it and get no help, nor get into the lab because there was no instructor access key; this was the ONLY reason why I asked to drop it immediately. I had such an easy and wonderful experience at Walden University. They helped with their online set with an orientation and student advisor. I was told I would be charged over $1250 plus for those days. It is their policy. Is it not their policy to help support their student, mainly their new student, on how to use their system and class structure? I got no help,no support and no call back. I did just get email from a supervisor who could not call me after asking to speak to one since Monday and told I have pay over $1200 and be sure to set up a payment plan or go to collection. No time to call me back! I found this online system to be chaotic, unsupportive once you are in. I am so disappointed in this school. Business before integrity. I didn't waste anyone time in the class or student service because I couldn't get anyone to call me back or help me. Please do your homework. I had a horrible, low-standard experience, and now I have to pay $1200 for it! I REALLY WANTED TO MAKE IT WORK FOR ME TO GO TO LINKS OF TRYING TO GIVE IT THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT SHOWS HOW BAD THE ONE WEEK WAS! Do better for the prospective student looking to continue their education. One star is generous. FYI: I COULD NOT FINISH THE REST BECAUSE IT WAS TO LONG FOR GOOGLE REVIEW. I WILL POST ON TIK TOK TO HELP OTHER NEW STUDENT BEFORE MAKING A DECISION YOU WILL REGRET!

I’m disappointed in this university. They kind of pushed me in a direction of a masters program I was told I’d be okay at. But there was a big gap of classes I was missing and it was too difficult to keep up. Secondly when I dropped the course. I had a past due balance and set up a payment plan. They told me I had a month to make the first payment of 96.00 and I paid 120 a month before hand. Now I got a notice that they are sending me to collections even though I was suppose to have a payment plan for this to pay over months. I was told I have an automatic payment set for the 26th of every month for the duration of my balance. If they send me to collections I’ll appeal it to the BBB

They literally scammed me. My "counselor" Sonia hurried me into enrollment and then ghosted me. My "actual counselor", I still don't understand, Mary, had me wait to drop out of the class until the deadline for early dropout had passed. That means I owe GCU payment for an entire semester. They then mishandled my banking information and due to a lack of communication on their part, I missed the window to pay in small installments. Now they've sold my debt to collectors and they want to take 1/3 my paycheck. If you can get into this school and make a success from it, wonderful, but be weary. If you're not absolutely sure of what's going on; they have horrible communication and are absolutely pushy, so be careful of that. It is not new/young student friendly.

I really enjoyed my classes @ GCU- they were relevant to what I needed to know. I was able to use what I was learning immediately. Most professors were great and brought their experience into the classroom. The expectations were high, but most professors were willing to meet and discuss how you could do better. This is a huge time commitment. Even tho it is online you will need to take the time to do many in person observations as well as 16 weeks of student teaching. My biggest complaint is that graduation for online students happens in the middle of student teaching. This makes it very difficult to attend because of the schedule. It would be nice if we could attend graduation after our student teaching so we do not have to either miss out or try to fit one more thing into a schedule.

I know 2 people that graduated from this college and do not recommend it! They mentioned the student counselors are incompetent, do not respond to their concerns and never return their outreaches, and that the school wasn't transparent and it felt like they were always being set up for failure to the point they felt like they were walking on eggshells throughout their entire ASBN program! I was going to look into going but when people that have graduated don't even recommend it you know its bad.

Completing screwed me out of 60,000!!! DO NOT GO HERE !!! They were not clear about the testing process for the education program. I could never find the course tutoring. I have to pay additional money for to take these tests $600 out of my pocket and they also told me that school was supposed to be $20,000 for two years to get my masters but I ended up paying $60,000. I wasn’t coached through my testing. I never was provided access to the tutoring program that they now are emailing student so a lot of people must’ve been complaining about not being able to find them. Counselors Just blamed me when I brought all of the concerns about my field counselor not providing all my information for testing. Imat this point I felt done with GCU went on academic leave that there was a class that started in August and I didn’t even realize I was a part of it cause I took a break from school and the class ended up dropping me because I didn’t even know I was attending a class and now I have to pay them $4000 for the drop class that I did not know I was in. Now my guidance counselor is telling me the school academic catalog for all the classes are changing so I will NOT be able to graduate after two years of putting up with this BS
